So I stopped using Explorer long ago, but may re start using them, since they likely WORK. Firefox as nice and techy as it is, does NOT load many sites or does if you have a couple hours to view a wheel spin. Aurora almost as bad.

Tech addons are of no value, to a poor man with a relatively slow net connect speed. You tech giants need to realize, $20/mo. service is slow...fast means $70/mo. and no normal human has that in their grocery budget get it?????

Bottom line. Yahoo mail will NOT load in Aurora or Firefox, and if it does, the functionality of send and view messages sucks soooooooooooooooooo slow. Other browsers NO NO NO NO troubles.

It ain't my service nor Dell D620, it's Aurora and Firefox and ymail and also other sites, same story. I enjoy the tech addons and the mind behind Mozilla, I don't like the fact that unless I could afford an $80/mo. Tl connection, like I enjoyed on a vacation at the McKinney, TX public library 10 years ago, my "included" service at my apt. complex, won't get it done unless I avoid Aurora altogether.

Further, I won't use Chrome. not not not Google annoys me. period.

Aurora is an alpha 2 level pre-release development version of what will become Firefox a few months down the road.

Please install Firefox 32, the latest release version of Firefox. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

guys. i am NON tech. you are genius. I have THE latest version of Firefox, and Aurora works faster, but neither will load or use the latest yahoo mail, but my OTHER browsers DO, noooo problem. your Aurora and your Firefox, since about 2 weeks ago, hate yahoo mail.

argue all you want, you are wrong.
