I thought I had successful auto install W-10 but when I open to send 1st message the"+ new message" button is not active/working. Per article this is how to start. Thanks for help.

I have deleted Thunderbird and the associated profile folder. Downloaded Thunderbird from the Mozilla site but it still installs with old information. I'm trying to get the info from an old computer onto a new one but following the directions to do this still doesn't give me the info from the old computer. Not tremendously tech savvy so would hope to get clear directions on what I may be doing wrong and how to fix it? Gone through what I can find here but nothing has helped. Windows 11 OS on both computers.

I would like to delete Thunderbird completely from my accout and then re-install fresh. However none of the answers I have found tell me where to start to delete it from my profile.

The online info is inaccurate as it pre-supposes a certain knowledge as to what is to be found where. I cannot follow that.

I have had Thunderbird forever. I have 2 point security & I have lost control of my Thunderbird as far as installing it on another computer. It works just fine on my Desktop which will have to be updated to Windows 11 soon. I have tried installing it on a few laptops to no avail. I followed David (of the little dog!) advice. He gave me instructions on how to save my Profile, which I did. It was big, took a while but it informed me there are some items that were not able to be copied, so I don't know it that will work when I do make my move. I had another thought. If I go into settings and passwords and delete the second security measure until I make the move, leaving me with a simple password, will that hopefully allow me to install Thunderbird on my laptop?

Thunderbird 144 is a go-awful mess. It has stopped allowing me to easily delete unwanted emails. Further, it is slow as molasses when trying to expand and read emails. My understanding is that the 102 series version works better. therefore I would like a clean, straight-forward method for downloading 102.15.

I have had Thunderbird for 20 years and have tried to install it on laptops with no success. I have 2 point protection, but I have completely lost control of installation as far as installing it on another device. How can I retain my Thunderbird? I really do not want to deal directly with G-Mail. Thunderbird is my choice...

I uninstalled thunderbird because my emails before the 16th of September were missing. When I tried to download a new version, I get asked for a donation and then after closing that screen, the app is not downloaded. I have checked in my downloads in the browser and it is not there. I have tried in an incognito window and I have the same problem.

How do I fix this please so I can download it and reinstall it?

What is the latest version of Thunderbird ESR for Mac OS 10.13?

Firefox ESR 115 for has been extended for High Sierra and I was wondering if Thunderbird ESR will do the same.

I have a 2011 iMac that is MAXED out at High Sierra so I can't use the current ESR version as it requires MacOS 10.15 Catalina.
