Frequently when switching tabs or opening the app to start a new search, when I've typed in my URL or search, it just hangs on a gray or black screen. Eventually the page does start loading with the rainbow progress bar and the page loads.

I've turned off extensions, it doesn't seem to be that.

Often when I type in the search bar I experience different bugs. Either the cursor will jump around while I'm typing and make it difficult to properly input my text, or it won't register that I'm hitting enter/return, or it won't even type anything until I refresh the page (this one is the rarest and has only happened a couple times)

This started happening the past couple months, so I imagine it's due to a recent update. It also only occurs on my phone and isn't the only reoccurring issue I've experienced while using the phone browser. It often fails bugs when scrolling and requires a refresh to show everything on a page or a complete restart of the app.

I am sticking with Firefox but these constant issues and others due make it frustrating.

After opening Facebook in the firefox browser for android, I am not able to comment on any Facebook post. The keyboard is not stable. Please fix this. And when I download any big file, it fails after half the download. This process happens again and again. Please fix this. Thank you.

I have a Yappy bracelet that uses NFC to load the page. For the past week or so, it will not load; it comes up with a white page. I get no error message or very rarely, just a tip of the page will load, but that's doesn't happen often. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and then it will work. But it only works for that day or maybe the next day. So I need to continue uninstalling/reinstalling. Pages also are very, very slow to load. I check my wifi speed and it's running fine. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy A-53, model name SM-A526U. If you need it, the One UI version is 6.1 and Android version 14. I contacted using my laptop since it was easier to explain than using my phone or doing it via the review on the play store. If you need any additional information, please let me know.

There is a significant delay with URL suggestion autofill when writing an address/URL into the URL-/search field. Many times resulting in a web search of the incomplete URL name, instead of going to the correct page. (Oneplus 13)

​I am reporting two visual glitches (white bars) occurring in the Android version of Firefox.

1. White Bar Appear Numbered list items at the Top in Portrait Multi-Select Mode
   When the browser is in portrait mode and I enter the multi-select state (e.g., in the Bookmarks or Downloads management screens), a white bar appears briefly or persists at the top of the screen. This seems like a UI rendering error.
2. White Bar Appears on the Left Side in Landscape Mode
   When the phone is in landscape mode, a persistent white bar/strip is visible on the far left side of the screen. This affects the full-screen display.

When typing a long search string in a new tab (Google search) which goes out to the right I can't see what I'm typing. Scrolling to the right is extremely laggy and can take seconds for each word. Tried this with the Chrome search bar and the Android settings search, the issue doesn't happen there.

Hi , Recently Mozilla started behaving problematic, I wonder if this problem is persistent in every Android device. When I switch apps on mobile let's say I open a banking app to copy paste credit card information and then reopen the Mozilla from the recently used application tab/section. Mozilla gives a black screen in which only bottom frame where the address bar and navigationonal buttons are placed is visible. It sticks there for 10-20 seconds, and then the web page appears or I have to refresh the page.

It s quite annoying and you have to wait a lot, lose the latest info on the page as you have to refresh it. I don't know if there is any solution to that or is it because of my Xiaomi resmi note 13 pro plus.

I'm hoping for some help with a persistent video playback issue on Firefox for Android. I am committed to using Firefox for its privacy and its independent Gecko engine, but this performance bug is a major blocker.

The Problem: When I play videos in Firefox, the playback is very choppy and stutters, appearing as if it's running at a very low frame rate.

Crucial Testing Information:

This issue is specific to certain browsers. I have tested the exact same videos on Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, and Ulaa, and they all play perfectly smoothly. The stuttering issue happens in Firefox (and also in Opera).

This confirms the problem is with how Firefox is rendering video on my device, not a network or hardware limitation.

Troubleshooting Roadblock:

I have already tried all the basic fixes (clearing cache, reinstalling, etc.).

I attempted to follow standard advice to troubleshoot this by accessing about:config to check the status of hardware video decoding. However, access to about:config is completely disabled in the stable version of Firefox for Android. This prevents any advanced user-side troubleshooting for performance issues like this.

Phone Model: OnePlus Nord 2T

Android Version: Android 14

Firefox Version: 143.0.4

Given that a critical troubleshooting tool is unavailable, I am reporting this directly. This seems to be a hardware acceleration incompatibility issue with my device.

am always on mobile and most of the time visiting Facebook, it's so hard to type on Facebook, if I click a text box, the keyboard closes itself, I have to click multiple times in order to type something, but then once it works, I can't see what am typing until I close the keyboard, this is very frustrating 😤

Where is the issue tracker for Firefox Nightly on Android? The last few updates have caused the keyboard to block the bottom part of webpages, making it impossible for me to see what I'm typing.

Firefox still eating too much RAM when to many tabs are open, optimisation would always be welcome naturally.

But maybe also looking into something like a system, that puts certain tabs that haven't been used for a long time into something like a sleep mode?

In the first loading the share menu would only show other firefox devices until a few seconds later other options appear. Closing the menu and reopening would not have this problem so I am unable to check if it's an Android problem

It's very frustrating to use Firefox as alternative to Chrome. It should be fast and reliable in browsing, which is fitting issues compared to chromium browsers like Chrome, Brave. Thanks.

Every so often (about 5 times a day?) when I tap the screen, Firefox initiates a page refresh as if I've swiped down from the top of the page. The refresh icon appears fully pulled down, and if I catch it before I release my finger, I can swipe back up to cancel the refresh. It seems to happen on some sites more than others, but I can't find a pattern or reproduce it reliably (maybe it happens more on sites that don't scroll down so the page is always at the top?). I managed to catch a video of it happening, but I don't see a place to upload it.

Firefox keep refreshing the webpage on my Poco M6 plus device whenever I minimize the app for even a second. I've received many android updates but this keep happening. I believe it is something has to be with HyperOS.
