When using some websites that ask for browser permission to use your location, the location is wrong.

I recently moved more than 2000 miles, and when I use Google Maps in Firefox on my Windows laptop, its "current location" (as in, the blue dot that appears once I give Google Maps permission to use my location) is always at my old address rather than my new one.

After some digging, I discovered https://mylocation.org/, which was very helpful in that it informed me of two different types of location lookup. One of them, based on my IP address, works like a charm and shows me at my new address. The other, called "Browser Geolocation", shows my old address. And I've confirmed that this information varies from browser to browser: Firefox is wrong, Chrome is correct, Edge is correct, Brave is wrong.

This must mean that the browser stores some kind of information somehow about my location, right? How do I update this so that it matches the public IP address location?

Just today, I can no longer access the Amazon website. The pages load halfway and then it just churns/spins and never completes loading the page. So far I've discovered no other websites that have the same problem.

I am able to access the Amazon website on three other browsers - Edge, Brave and DuckDuckGo - with no problems and normal loading speed. I don't use Chrome, so I can't speak to that.

I've tried clearing the cache and that did not help. I had a Firefox update installed a couple of days ago. Don't know how long it had been sitting there, as Firefox is almost always open and doesn't have the opportunity to update until I close everything and restart my computer, which I did a couple of days ago.

Windows 10 on a Dell pc/laptop. Firefox Version 126.0 (64-bit).

Any ideas on how to fix?

CloudFlare is not allowing me to use Firefox for a host of sites that I routinely use, such as my bank, Credit Union 1. I have tried repeatedly and will not recognize my computer so I have to use Chrome to get through.

They are locking me out as a spammer because I am using Firefox. Whats up with that?????

Despite changing the settings and saving them to the cloud. Firefox keeps resetting to Canada as my default country. How can I change this since I live in the UK. I do not use a VPN for Canada.

Since 2 weeks, I have been facing a UI error in the address bar. Whenever I select it to type something, the bar and search suggestions jump up off-screen. Pic attached.

Whenever I try to log into my online banking all I get is a white screen, nothing whatsoever.

I can log in just fine using the dreaded Microsoft Edge or Chrome but firefox will not work.

Now, I do know that I have actually logged in with firefox because if I come back to the page 10 minute later I get a banking message saying that as I haven't done anything for 10 minutes it has now logged me out!

I have cleared cache & cookies, I've started in safe mode and looked at the threads in the forum but nothing helps.

This is happening on all instances of firefox that I have, work, home, laptop.

Hello, I have problem with firefox. When I try download from facebook page files .docx, .xlsx (Microsoft Office) Firefox automatically download it as PDF and file is broken. I don't know how to repair this. Please help, it is very frustrating.

Hi, I am trying to access a website, and I keep getting 'Secure Connection Failed', with the error codes: ' PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR', or 'SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG'. This only happens in 'Firefox', 'Microsoft Edge' and 'Google Chrome' load without any issues. I have the same problem on PC and Android. I have tried everything that I could from the information I received on the internet and here in the help forums, from disabling proxy, firewalls, on the browser and on my PC. I have added exceptions to HTTPS, disabled 'Enhanced Tracking Protection'. Nothing seems to work. If you could help me this would be greatly appreciated, as Mozilla Firefox is my trusted browser. I am unable to view "Conversations" within the Yahoo Finance Stock Quote portal. This feature displays real time discussion of the security and has thousands of responses. Noticed this when using the Microsoft 365 browser that this is not a problem. My PC is a Dell with Windows 10.

Hey, i have been in some trouble because the last device i had with my firefox account logged in was my phone, and I recently broke it.

So now Im trying to log in with my google account but when i want to restore my session(take back my data like bookmarks and passwords, all the "sync" thing you know) into my computer he says that I need to enter a "master password" refering to that one password i created randomly in 2021, or else, use a key something that i couldve created(I didnt, cause i didnt know the existence of it) to re-enter my session without erasing all my data, because yes, if i forgot the password it says that if i restore it, the data will be erased And with my only logged in device now broken i cant regain access to my data, i have a lot of my passwords of pretty much all my gaming accounts there(and more), and if u wonder how did i got to enter the account without having the possibility of activating the "sync" thing, i just entered with my google account as I do always, but just because i dont remember my very old now password, i cant get back my passwords.

So thats my problem, i hope that my english was understandable, and if u can respond in spanish it would be even more helpful for me but if not, its fine.
