It started yesterday and I went through the troubleshooting process in Mozilla web site with no results. I’ve uninstalled, deleted register and reinstall the latest Firefox 3.6.8 version. Firefox starts after the initial installation but after you close that window I cannot open it again and get the crash error. I’m not an expert and don’t know what to do next at this point. Thanks you for your help

I forgot to mention that I’ve also tried to open Firefox on a safe mode but it didn’t work.

Try a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

thank you cor-el. this is what i did: I uninstalled Firefox and manually deleted the folder Mozilla Firefox on C/program files. Cleaned the register with Ccleaner, rebooted my computer and then installed the latest version of Firefox. After I opened firefox the first time I‘ve disabled all the extensions, closed Firefox and open it again and it works!!!! (it was crashing all the times before), It’s great to have Firefox back. After that I’ve enabled just java quick started 1.0 and no more issues so far. I have permanent disabled Norton tool bar 3.7.2 , Norton ips 1.0 and Microsoft framework network assistant 0.0.0.. Thank you again
