Cannot download PDF's on 135.0 Windows 10 64-bit

Recently, I can't download content; esp. PDF's. I click on a PDF file link, and nothing happens. No error message, no acknowledgement all. I have cleared all data, set security to Standard without relief. I've set the PDF Action to "Always Ask" yet get no dialog box on clicking on a PDF link. Other browsers work just fine. Is it time to switch browsers?

What OS? What version of Firefox? What site? Provide steps to replicate. What happens on this site? https://www.irs.gov/downloads/irs-pdf No issues for me. see screenshot Did you try with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#search
