WIll Norton tool bar work with new update now?
All I see is questions from a lot of other people with the same problem. I don't want to update if I can't use my Norton toolbar. All of my logins and passwords are on there. SO, is this fixed or not?

hello, according to norton the toolbar is already compatible with firefox versions including the current release version. please run the norton liveupdate utility repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension afterwards.
for more information please refer to https://community.norton.com/en/blogs/product-update-announcements/firefox-35-support-norton-toolbar
Some of use, the toolbar works fine. But for others . . . . Even if the toolbar is disabled, the main program still does it's job.
The users saying they have the same problem did not realize they need to check for Live Updates in Norton for a Norton toolbar extension update.
Unlike most extensions still usually being compatible, the ones that tie in with say a antivirus client needs to be updated for each new major Firefox version .exe.
About the only good thing about Norton is that they have had a update for their toolbar extension within a day of new major Firefox release ever since Firefox 5.0.
