Mysterious, unexpected, message at the top of my Settings page

I have been using Firefox browser for so long I can't remember when I first started using it, so "June 2004" was an absolute guess to satisfy the too-inflexible parameters of the login process.

However, to the problem... Firefox has been my default browser for the past few centuries and is likely to remain so until the internet itself becomes obsolete. Recently I also installed Brave because I want to separate some of my internet activities from the rest. The Brave installation process apparently set Brave as my default browser without consulting me. So I went into my Firefox settings to return Firefox to "default" status. That was simple enough, but what I also noticed at the top of my Settings page is a message I've never seen before which reads, "Your browser is being managed by your organisation."

   err... WHAT ORGANISATION???  My computer is a stand-alone "home" computer which I own and manage, and is not networked to anything, not even a printer.  When I connect to the internet it is by password protected mobile hotspot through my phone, but I make this connection only when I need it and disconnect when it is not in use. 

So, this unexpected message alarms me. Have I been hacked and my browser been taken over by some unknown entity of whose existence I was unaware until I saw this message... or what?

How do I block whoever/whatever the "organisation" is and take back permanent, secure control of my browser? Anyone who can throw some light on this will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have some serious problems with my Firefox!

First it won't open in any page I want it to. A message appears "Oops! Your tab just ceashed" It wants me to click on the following link: "Restore this tab", but nothing happens when I do it! If I try to click in one of my shortcuts on the top of the page, nothing happens either!

Today I tried to uninstall it, and then go get the latest version, but it won't uninstall! I tried to uninstall it using the Windows (7 Professional) Control Panel, but nothing happens when I click on Unistall Mozilla Firefox!

What else can I do?

I added an entry to my hosts file hoping it would block the IP but it doesn't seem to work, I may have done something wrong. When I try and create another outlook account I find the instructions for it, but those instructions don't seem to relate to my Firefox browser? I received the following message after logging in to an online acct. and wanted to review my online bill:

"The address wasn’t understood. Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address."

Any thoughts or resolve? Also, I'm using AdBlocker Ultimate which I took via Firefox suggestion/recommendation.

It started a few days ago. Tabs of latest version firefox started to crash, later firefox started to suddenly close itself spontaneously, and more later I had blue screens. So I decided to format.

Now I have clean install windows 7 ultimate SP1 on a new formatted samsung SSD EVO 870 (1TB) on the C: partition

I downloaded mozilla firefox (104.0.2 x64). But still sometimes it crashes individual tabs that prompts me to "reload this tab" or something like that.

And sometimes the main window spontaneously and suddenly dissappear with all its tabs, without any warning. It can be a few seconds later after I launch firefox, or a few minutes later, or with some typing or mouse action. I also try to take no action and only wait, but it closed again. I tried troubleshoot mode and wait, but it closed again.

I have no addons. I uninstalled firefox and reinstall. nothing changed. All my installations are new and clean. Whats wrong? I need your help.
