Hi,

I set up the Janus website on my LAN and tried to access it using firefox on Raspberry Pi desktop.

However, firefox complained that "connection not secure" even if I allowed all the permissions including the camera and microphone.

Of course, I can use the newest firefox to access the same Janus website package on localhost or AWS(Of course I have a domain name and HTTPS in AWS configuration).

I know that firefox takes care of the security very well, yet in my case, I just want to test the website on my own LAN, I want to understand how to configure firefox in Raspberry Pi to access Janus running on my LAN.

Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4B, 4G memory OS: Ubuntu 21.04 Firefox: 96.0

I guess it is nothing related to Janus but something wrong with my configuration, thank you in advance.

Had to reinstall Firefox browser after OS crash. Used recovery key to access my Firefox account rather than resetting password because instructions said that way would preserve my saved logins, bookmarks, etc. But they're all gone.

Not able to interact with major sites like Verizon and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Today, I was not able to look at my Verizon account. The browser kept switching to a Facebook container even when I selected it to override. At times, it blocks logins, or doesn't allow a login button to activate, so I have to use Chrome. I'm getting to the point where after years of loving this browser, I'm seriously considering using Chrome. What is going on, Firefox??????

Hi dear manager, I know a cyber security team related to military in my country are working on Security holes very badly. In these days there are many trojans and viruses out there. I am using FF latest update all the time & MalwareBytes & Eset both of them licensed latest versions. Just tell me can hackers steal my passwords & cookies and logged in sessions by opening a single web site in these days? Can they install an exe file in my pc through FF in silent mode without my permission? Imagine a news web site has some malicious codes. Can they steal data through this web site by just opening it?

My website has an SSL certificate installed and this is detectable in Firefox. However, looking at the page info, it states that the site is not encrypted.

On other browsers like IE and Chrome, the site is reported to be using encryption. I also looked at the actual network packets which seem to be encrypted, even when using FireFox. I was wondering if this is a FireFox bug or am I missing something here?

At "https://www.delta.com/login/loginPage?staticurl=" (login to delta.com) there's a user name field. When I click on it Firefox suggests the username. I don't want the username exposed this way because I use the 1Password password manager to fill in usernames.

In Settings "Logins and Passwords" it says "1Password – Password Manager controls this setting". "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" is not checked, and "Autofil logins and passwords" is checked but the option is pale blue instead of bright blue and cannot be changed.

How can I stop FF from exposing my username?

i am on a website that supports hardware 2FA. i get a pop up the says "[website] wants to authenticate you using a registered security key. You can connect and authorize one now, or cancel.] but it doesn't give me the touch id pop up. i have confirmed this works on safari and chrome. how do i get Firefox to recognize touch id on my macbook

hello, is it conceivable to hide particular id's when accessing a site when it is registered in the id/password list ? example: when i access web address https://example.com on firefox browser it rolls down all my accounts on that site. In my example i have 8 accounts on that site. I would like an option in the id/password list section a toggle switch to hide/show in every account registered in that list so that the hidden accounts don't show up in the roll list when i access https://example.com . I hope i'm clear enough, if not don't shy away :-) . Thanks

When Firefox browser on my desktop Mac sends me notifications, I want to be able to click on a notification and have Firefox take me to the website. These are sites where I've 'allowed' notifications in Firefox privacy/security settings. However, when I click on any notification, nothing happens. How do I fix this?

Started with 103.0.1. Still broke in 103.0.2. It isn't auotsaving password changes. I have to go into saved logins change it myself. Always worked before 103.0.1. I haven't changed anything on my end so I see no reason to suspect my equipment or settings. 3rd problem I've found since 103.01 came out.

Dell 660. Win 10.

It started with 103.0.1. Still going on with 103.0.2. I have it set to clear all history except site data when I close FF. It doesn't do that any more. My equipment isn't the issue because it always worked before 103.0.1.

Also starting with 103.01 and continuing in 103.0.2 - Doesn't auto save changed passwords. Again it always worked fine on this computer before 103.0.1

And of course the "Firefox exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware" that I have a separate post on.
