If I am on a web site and click a link to another page on the same website Firefox opens a new tab rather than displaying it in the existing tab. How do I get Firefox to NOT do this?

I'm participating in a discussion group based on Wordpress (learning.martinus.dk), and when I try to sign in (learning.martinus.dk/wp-login.php), I get the error.

>> 406 Security Incident Detected Your request was blocked. The public IP address assigned to you, by your internet provider, might be suffering from poor reputation: Look up IP reputation here. <<

My IP adr. is 80.208.65.123 and it is NOT suffering from poor reputation -- and no problem when I sign in from e.g. Chrome!

So what can I do so I can use my favorite browser here too!?  ;o)

I have a task bar at the bottom of my screen -- or I used to. Ever since I installed a Norton protection program several says ago, the task bar shows up sometimes and other times, it is gone and I cannot access it. When it's there, it gives me access to the websites I'm using, all my written files and picture, video and other files, volume control and other options. I NEED TO SEE AND USE THIS TASK BAR ALL THE TIME, NOT SOME OF THE TIME WHEN FOR SOME REASON IT'S THERE. AGAIN, I WANT TO ACCESS THIS TASK BAR ALWAYS WHEN I'M ONLINE.

FIX THIS.

Over the years I have accumulated important links in my Firefox Bookmarks bar and passwords file and it would be a disaster if for some reason my hard drive got compromised and I could no longer access them. Is there any way to copy the data to another set-up, independent of my laptop, from where the data could be retrieved in a usable form for display on another laptop or PC? Thanks.

Hi, Generally I'm checking, if I will manage to migrate from the Vivaldi to Firefox...

But I have the first issue, which is: When I click (not spin!) the middle mouse button on the page to scroll (like it is in Windows), then it has too great sensitivity. It goes like crazy up and down, I didn't see any other browser which implemented it this way. Can this sensitivity be somehow lowered?

I will repeat just in case, I'm not talking about spinning the mouse wheel, but clicking it.

Firefox is great but is there a way to add the Help => About Firefox webpage in Firefox home page? This is to simplify Firefox updates. Because although Firefox downloads updates, you still need to activate Help => About Firefox to update the Firefox version.

In Chrome you can add this to home page: chrome://settings/help and when you open Chrome it goes to this page and updates itself.

Does Firefox have the same capabilities so that we don't need to wait on users to click on Help => About Firefox to update Firefox?

I used to use Firefox about 19 years or more The last two years..... FireFox was enable the auto-translate of Youtube videos in Arabic language automatically ........ Then it stopped working since four months

I thought that the "Improve Youtube extension" was the reason. I contacted the developer and said:

Its misunderstanding of the feature :( afaik as is today Improve Youtube will use the subtitle language to switch on CC if its provided in this language by video author, it doesnt switch auto-translate. Ill look into making it enable auto-translate if requested CC is missing.

Today I noticed that all videos have Arabic CC ..... Mmm, the feature has returned to work again! without any interference from me In order... to make sure the reason...... I disable all my FireFox extensions, and it is surprising that the automatic translation is still working and I recorded a video to see for yourself how to work directly once you enter the video

In your opinion, what is the explanation for that?

I know that YouTube has options for displaying / enable auto-translate always ... but it is only for the English language .... I am talking about the translation of the Arabic language in all videos Sooooo A feature from YouTube itself or what? And if it was, why did it stop in the past four months, and now it has returned to work?

I changed computers and created a login to save bookmarks, it looked like this was accomplished but now on my new computer and after I login in Firefox it asks me to import but fire fox is not an option.

Hello, I hope you can help me. I am trying to print from my email. I use windows 10. two different computers, two different printers, same issue. If I try to print an itinerary or anything that contains an image it does not print the image and only parts of the text. If i do it in chrome or edge it works fine. I am attaching an example with an Strava email. The first two pages are from firefox. the second two are from chrome. Even if I scale down the size in firefox, the image of the map does not appear. I print from the small icon to print within the mail, as it should be done. I tried most of what i know, and this is a firefox issue. Can you please help? many thanks and regards jean

I filled in a website active form (an online insurance claim), but because they had very little documentation, I started to fill it in to find out what information I needed. I intended and did abandon the page before the "submit button" closing the tab because I needed a real phone number (I had filled in a dummy just to progress the form). Well the claim was submitted and I got an email acknowledgement. I did not hit the submit button. I thought it an odd fault with the website and didn't think much of it, (it is just a pain to have to go and correct information). Well I am pretty sure it happened again. On an unrelated website with a complaint form, I filled in the form and left up in the browser, with the intention of rereading it in an hour or so to see if it made sense. But I decided not to proceed and just closed the browser. The form was submitted and I got a reply. Pretty sure I did not hit the submit button. It may be a configuration error or a extension problem but I think it happened with the 112 update, but I can't be sure. It is certainly only recent (~28 April ~8 June) but I have never used either of these online forms before so it may be coincidence.

When watching something on Youtube and I click on the coloured download icon, I get to be able to click on the title of the video. A blue 1 appears in the download icon. When I click again, then click on the blue 1 to watch the download. Nothing happens. The window just sits there and states 'downloading', but it does not happen. This happened last year and you managed to fix it; now Youtube seem to have blocked downloading again. Geoffrey D Dean, Australia.

When I download a file, the downloads page use to wrap around and now it no longer does that. How do I get firefox to wrap long file names in the downloads page in the library?

Stopped receiving daily Washington Post newsletters yesterday, and they question if Firefox changed something? Is there something new preventing receiving them? If yes, how can I change it to allow the Washington Post e-mails? Thank you!

I use Firefox Developer Edition and recently I noticed a problem when watching videos on any website in full screen mode. As can be seen on the attached image, there is a weird pixelated border around the video.
