When I open Firefox these days, the window is so big that the toolbar is barely visible. I have to put the cursor in just the right little spot to pull the window down and resize it. It is NOT full screen or maximized, it just opens a huge window that's too far up on the screen. I just want to resize the default window that it opens with.

Hello, it seems that cycling through tabs in most recently used order is not working for me. I am running version 126.0.1 on Windows and I have the "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" option enabled on my settings page. I have only noticed this issue in the past week or so, and so I am wondering if this feature is broken in the most recent release and if there is anything I can do to get the feature to work again until the bug is fixed in a future version.

My old hard drive died I couldn't recover it. I cannot mount the disk to another OS etc. The session files cannot be retrived. However I had over 100 tabs open in Firefox I want to retrieve before the disk crashed. I was signed in to firefox all the time in the old computer.

I now have a new computer, I signed in to firefox and I can recover the bookmarks. But I don't see any option to recover the lots of tabs and sessions from my previous dead disk. It seems there is tab sync options between 2 devices that is concurrently signed in. But I can't sign in to a dead disk. I also can't recover the file.

How can I reteive my old sessions with many tabs? I'm hoping firefox have a way of knowing all my tabs since I was signed in and sync before the disk crash.

When I'm browsing, especially when shopping, say, Amazon, eBay, or Swanson Vitamins or wherever, FF opens a new tab which remains open to the right of the left-most original tab. Of course, when I + a new tab which I want it to stay open, it opens and, again, by itself, FF closes the first tab and the latter takes over the left-most spot. And, in case of eBay, when I click on an item I want to check, it keeps on opening a new tab on the original tab. Placing the cursor on FF icon on task bar displays all the tabs. I never had things like above happen with previous issue FF. Of, course, I don't know since which FF version was stable in the way I wanted. Does anyone know how to set FF to stop taking all these unwanted actions?

The behavior began with fifteen to twenty crash messages appearing. After which the browser would stop responding and be unable to reach out to the internet.

Network connectivity was confirmed as I was able to access my VPN and corporate teams.

I submitted as many crash reports as I could. Eventually the crash reporter ceased to function. The message is:

Firefox had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash.

Details: expected value at line 1 column 1

Only a full reboot of the machine restored functionality but only temporarily. It returns after being put into sleep mode.

Running firefox in safe mode does not restore functionality. The behavior persists.

I am fully up to date according to firefox.

I am running a Lenovo Thinkpad Windows 11.

Gah. Your Tab Just Crashed message appear on the new tab and can not access any websites after this. The Close Tab, Restore Tab, Restore All Tabs do nothing.

I have to reboot the PC and start again.

I'm using the latest version 126.0.1 (64-bit).

Tried running in Safe Mode, uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it, reverted back to 126.0 (64-bit) and same issue.

I've cleared the cache and history

Had Add Blockers, FB Purity and New Tab Override Extensions. Disabled these and still no success.

I have AVG driver update installed and its telling me all the drivers are up to date.

The problem seemed to start happening after an AVG update, so I have removed AVG Antivirus

The computer is an ASUS Vivobook Laptop, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz with 8GB ram.
