Whenever I try to log into my online banking all I get is a white screen, nothing whatsoever.

I can log in just fine using the dreaded Microsoft Edge or Chrome but firefox will not work.

Now, I do know that I have actually logged in with firefox because if I come back to the page 10 minute later I get a banking message saying that as I haven't done anything for 10 minutes it has now logged me out!

I have cleared cache & cookies, I've started in safe mode and looked at the threads in the forum but nothing helps.

This is happening on all instances of firefox that I have, work, home, laptop.

Directions are sync & save data. This is wrong. There is NO "sync and save data" in the iOS FF menu. See attached. Therefore cannot scan QR code. Email does not work because FF does not recognize my password which is written down and I am signed on to Mozilla. in iPhone settings FF allows camera. FF is set up to permit sync. The open tabs on PC do not sync to FF on phone. All directions do not work or are totally unclear. Nothing seems to agree with anything. Cannot sync. Cannot scan QR code. Cannot verify password.

I've been using custom icons for all of my 36 shotcuts on Firefox start page. Today I opened Firefox and my icons are gone, Firefox slowy created its own ones and now I can't refresh them to bring back my own, despite there are my links pasted into entry. It's really time consuming to bring back old icons one by one, I have to upload each of them again to get new links, because somehow Firefox sees old links being in use and there's no way to refresh preview of them. Please give me faster method to bring back my old setting, I really hate changes so much!

Ever since Firefox updated to ver 126.0 it no longer autocompletes with past history of visited websites like it used to. As a matter of fact it doesn't do anything in the url bar anymore. Everything is turned on in settings but no luck. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but nothing is working. I am on Windows 10 if this matters...thanks

Hi, I've used Wondershare uniconverter for quite a while without issue. Recently, every time I start a download in uniconverter, firefox crashes/closes. I tried troubleshoot mode in firefox with all extensions and add-ons disabled (I only have 1) and also cleared cache and cookies. Issue remains.

Has anyone come across this and/or has any suggestions?

Windows 10, Firefox 120.0 (64 bit), Microsoft Surface Pro.

We moved (1000 miles) and I when I use Google Maps in Firefox (not in Chrome or Edge), it still shows my location being at our old address. Very frustrating. Clearly is a Firefox issue because as stated, my correct location is shown using other browsers on the same computer.

My preferred browser is Firefox, but this is very frustrating. I searched for solutions but came up with nothing that related to the issue being ONLY in Firefox, not other browsers. I.e., it is not a system issue, it is clearly an application (Firefox) issue, so I'm looking for a fix at that level.

I was advised to use the Authenticator.cc extension for my Firefox browser on Windows 10 PC, I can't get it to run. It downloads but will not then do anything. I can't get the icon into the menu bar, I can't scan a QR code, it just will not perform. Why not?

I have recently been getting an error message when I open Firefox saying "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem". This has been happening since I clicked on a mail in Mail to unsubscribe from a spam/phishing mail list, which seemed to result in me installing Firefox Private Browsing, which I had never subscribed to. I have tried uninstalling Private Browsing but there is no way of doing that. I have even uninstalled and then re-installed Firefox completely but I still have the same problem. Because of the problem I have now lost all my bookmarks and history, and am unable to create new bookmarks and history. I have been on the help forums and seen that I can Disable Private Browsing by going through my anti-virus (Avast), which I have not yet tried because what I would really like to achieve is uninstalling and not having Private Browsing on my Start menu, rather than simply disabling it. Anyway, would disabling it solve the bookmarks and history problem ? Can anyone give me the solution ? Thanks. As you may gather, I am not very techno so you would have to give me the idiot's version of any instructions or advice.

I uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox. I was able to recover my bookmarks, add-ons, and login information. But I do not know how to recover by pdf files. Are they gone for good?

I am not sure if the topic is the right one I choose.

My question/complaint: recently websites, although mostly websites from my bookmarks, seem not available or existing. Mostly after a few minutes and a new trial, the website comes back as if nothing was wrong. Could it be the last update from Firefox? I never had these "problems" (a big word for minor inconveniences) before and I use Firefox at least during the last 15 years.

Hello, Whenever I try to open something on Firefox, for example, the Library, I get the message "Mozilla Firefox (Not Responding) and it hangs with no immediate responsive action. I click on any Firefox button or tab and I get the same message and I get the blue little circle and I sit and wait about 30 seconds or more. The page or tab eventually works but it hangs for 30 seconds or more. It is frustrating. Please help.

Need some help. I can't download any files using Firefox. It always says, "Failed".

I tried other browsers, and I'm able to download just fine.

I already tried this guide, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files, but still same.

I haven't tried to re-install Firefox because I have a bunch of workbook marks that might get lost. So, I want the re-install option as a last resort.

Thanks in advance for any insight or suggestions. My preferred browser is Firefox. In Chrome, I can easily use a voice search from www.google.com. In Firefox, the permissions show my preferred mic as enabled and selected for that webpage -- but no sound is detected. (Using Firefox. mic works fine at https://www.onlinemictest.com.)

(BTW, speaker output is Realtek motherboard audio and mic input is a Shure X2U USB interface. This mic works just fine in zoom, whereby, audition, etc. as well as working google.com using chrome)

Have worked through various settings in the SOUND panel and SITE PERMISSIONS with no luck.

Any ideas about this problem -- or what other settings to trouble shoot?

If you experience horizontal lines appearing when scrolling after installing firefox possible fix is finding layers.acceleration.force-enabled and set to true after going to about:config in your address bar search for this and set it to true. My real question I ask myself is, why isn't this enabled by default when installing firefox? I swear I remember doing this last Win 11 install as well. My third time installing windows unfortunately, just had a nvme ssd drive fail on me. 😭😢 Ofc, it had to be my Gen 4, C: drive with my old User account on there as well. :// Lesson learned, always backup important data frequently as desired. :( Oh well, just lost all my saved games and few songs, no big deal I guess.
