I have an issue with color profiles that I'd like some help with. For my setup, I'm using a thinkpad with a wide gamut display running in fedora.

The issue is that an image exported from Darktable looks overly saturated in Firefox. I found I was able to fix this by specifying the color profile using the flag `gfx.color_management.display_profile`. However that profile is the OS default, and according to Firefox it should've been picked up when querying the OS.

How can I see what icc/color profile Firefox is using? Alternatively, what method is Firefox using to query the OS for its default profile? Thank you.

I have several sub-folders connected to my "Inbox". How do I have specific incoming mail sent directly to the different sub-folders? I had no problem doing this prior to Thunderbird 115.1 taking over my previous edition. Tried following the instructions under Settings but it wasn't very helpful.

I manage our browser configuration for our enterprise. We use group policy to restrict browser addons until they clear our internal security review.

I'm looking for a way to allow specific addons using group policy, while generally blocking everything else.

I've found the setting to enforce the installation of addons, but we'd like to avoid forcing every addon to install on every system as there would be overlap between things like password managers and such.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

I am running a dual monitor setup. My primary monitor's resolution is 3440x1440, and my secondary is 3840x2160.

The text on my Firefox toolbars and menus looks very clear on my secondary monitor (3840x2160), it looks as I would expect it to; however, on my primary monitor (3440x1440) it's smaller which makes it pixelated meaning it's much less clear. I've been using Firefox for about an hour and I'm already bugged enough to post here.

Due to the different resolutions I need to keep the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx in about:config to the default -1.0 so the windows scale as per my Windows 11 settings.

Hi! I don't like the automatically updated extensions -feature, it seems to have been turned on nowadays, it has been maybe a year or two when you had control to update them by hand! I don't like this feature and it seems to now be in every browser that I use, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi! Is there a way to turn this function off? Maybe a commandline function or an editable thing in a configuration file! Other browser developers should also think about this! I think Firefox has been a good browser to use, I used to use Opera but changed to Firefox quite accidentally when having to install things again!

I can't paste the link I get from Dropbox to connect FileLink for Dropbox into my settings. Why not? Even when I type the very long string by hand, it will not connect. What am I doing wrong? Is there a step I am missing? I really need this feature. Thanks- Pat Stoll

using Thunderbird for my workflow with mails and tasks, I wonder if it is possible to create a task automatically from a flagged email.

Of course, I know it is possible to convert mails to tasks, but first I would like to speed up the process and second, it would be great, if TB could also convert mails which were flagged on a different client, e.g. on my mobile phone: 1. mail is flagged on phone, 2. flag is sync on server, 3. TB creates tasks on this mail when synced with server

Alternatively/additionally, does anybody has experiences with using IMAP flags as trigger in automation scenarios e.g. in zapier, make.com or Power Automate?

It used to be that we would see - in the account tree - a number telling us how many emails we have available to read. As you would open an email, this number would automatically reduce.

Now, not only do we get this email count, but I am getting an email count of ALL the email in an account folders (Inbox, Sent, Received, etc.). I don't know who invented this, but I do not want it.

How can I go back to Thunderbird only showing me my unread emails available?

I am a heavy user of Firefox: daily & around 8 hours a day.

I usually use alt+shift+left/right-arrow to select a few words to the right / to the left. With the latest update (mandatory because this is a work-administered) laptop, the new behavior is that tabs are changed.

I want any solution to revert this to standard (past) behavior (preferably not an extension). Looked around in about:config but could not find anything to toggle on/off.

This is highly annoying as I've had this workflow for literally years. Even opening this ticket I encountered the issue more than 3 times as I was phrasing the message and had to delete & rewrite some stuff while also have other tabs open in the same Firefox window.

Would highly appreciate your timely response!

This last week one of my inboxes started to group my emails by Today, Last 7 days,Last 14 day and Older. I find no option to change that back to showing all the emails in date order like my other email accounts. The other posts on this topic that I can find are all for older versions that I don't see the commands for in my version.

I am using version 115.11.1 - 64 bit.

I have two identical instances of the Thunderbird 115.11.0 (64-bit) installed on Fedora 40 (two different boxes) They display Email preview differently (See attached pictures)

Anybody knows how to change that view? What settings?
