The last two Firefox up-dates 18.0.02 & 19.0.0) replaced my homepage with the Google search page. I want to retain my homepage. How may this be accomplished??? - this has never happen before. In the past, upon reboot of FF, the update "welcome" would appear in a new tab. While that "tab" is still there, as a tab, the homepage is now the Google homepage. I am running Win 7 64bit Home Premium SP1

Thank you for your reply. I had re-set the homepage the conventional way only to have it replaced with Google each time. I was not aware of the dragging the URL icon over to the home icon to set the home page. Right now things seem to be acting normally - hopefully this will continue after the next FF update. Has mozilla altered the way to set the home page? In the past, you could paste in the URL to go to your selected homepage, then go through the "Tools|options" menu and then just click on "use current page" - and that was it. The last 2 times I needed to "blue out" the Google URL and paste in the URL that I want for the home page, that was already displayed prior to accessing the "Tools" menu. Is there a way in setup to maintain the current homepage? I have looked, but have not been able to locate one via the oiptions shown.
