Whenever I click on something that requires firefox to load something (a new blank tab, for example, or refreshing a site, closing a tab, loading a new site, etc.) it moves very slowly.
If I click on a link, right click something and select open in a new tab, open a blank new tab, close a tab or switch between tabs it takes long periods of time before it responds to my request. It seems to not recognize what tab I'm in for this period of time and thus I am unable to do anything within Firefox until it figures it out and then it still takes quite some time. I can't seem to figure out the problem. I've looked through the FAQ-ish answers to the problem and nothing seems to work.
