my bookmarks aren't working and they have diasappeared. Ican't add any new bookmarks.Please advise.

my bookmarks have disappeared and my library appears to have stopped working. I can't use it. Nothing shows up in the history. I can't add any bookmarks and when i right click on a page to add it as a bookmark,nothing happens.

Click the Firefox button, go to Bookmarks, then Show All Bookmarks.
In the Import and Backup menu, click Restore and choose a date to restore from. Firefox will reinstate your bookmarks using a backup file from that date.
You might also have a damaged places.sqlite file. See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
