My web page: projectplant.org has two pics at the top of my index page. They were created in GIMP and their background color (#ccff99) was set to match the bgcolor of the web html document. The problem is when I zoom out or zoom in a couple of times either way (ctr +, ctr + or ctr - , ctr -) I get a dark edge on the right side and sometimes at the bottom of the graphics. This is not a problem in Win IE, nor is it a problem in the other Linux browser, Epiphany. Any thoughts?

I just retried this in my Firefox browser on my Windows OS and I do not get the dark edges. Those dark edges only appear in my Firefox browser on my Linux Ubuntu machine. I will now try this using OpenSuse. Will report back.

I see the same black lines in Firefox 3.6.16 on Linux, but not with Firefox 4.

OK. That's confirmation enough for me. I wondered the same thing. I'll wait until I can get Firefox 4 for my Linux Ubuntu and OpenSuse. The new Ubuntu will be coming out this week sometime, or next, and I expect to get Firefox 4 with the upgrade. OpenSuse won't be upgraded for about a year, but I think I can get a copy of FF4 for that now. Thanks for your good words of confirmation. I appreciate it.
