Sluggish input on colab notebooks

This is Firefox on a brandnew Fedora installation. Using Jupyter notebooks on Google Colab, I experience delays when typing into input fields. It's not quite a deal-breaker, but annoyingly sluggish. On a Chromium-based browser, Vivaldi, I don't notice this problem. My hope is there is a certain overlap of the demographics using Colab, Firefox and Fedora. I wonder if there is a known problem in this area? Is there a configuration settings you can suggest? Thanks in advance! Bernd.
