Can't send messages..
I lost my hard disc and had to reinstall Thunderbird. I can download my messages from Spectrum roadrunner but can't send messages. The error message is "can't connect to Outgoing server.(SMTR) mail.twc.com. This is the same address I use to receive mail.587. Spectrum couldn't figure it out. May have to replace Thunderbird! Why would another email client connect, as your settings may be wrong? Thunderbird is only a messenger. The solution may be to find the correct settings. A search here for mail.twc.com brings up many users with the same problem. mobile.charter.net worked for some. If you post your complete SMTP settings, someone here may have suggestions. Thank you.
