Hi togehter! Does anybody else having following problem? On a Windows Domain we have set some preferences from the new GPOs (since v.60.0) active. It works fine until some users have set "Use master password". After that Firefox will hang with "not responding" at startup and waiting for the master password, but I only can end the complete task. After I disabled the policies for that computer (or user) it's working normally and will work further with enabled policies after I removed the master password.

Best regards, Jens

I'll check this and see if I can recreate.

Is it one particular policy or any policies?

I've activated following policies:

Mozilla/Firefox:

 Blocked websites
 Disable Firefox Accounts
 Don't Check Default Browser
 Offer to save logins

Mozilla/Firefox/Certificates/Import Enterprise Roots Mozilla/Firefox/Flash/Allowed Sites

perhaps it's related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1427248 which will be fixed in the next esr build. could you test it on firefox 61 beta?

I've installed 61.0b10 but I can reproduce the problem under some circumstands again: 1. Restore previous session is checked 2. One tab with a site which needs saved credentials is active 3. Closed Firefox 4. Opened Firefox -> It hangs again with the window for the master password

After I deleted key3.db & key4.db I can open Firefox normally, but the passwords are deleted.

Would you be willing to export your Policies from your registry and send it to me directly?

I'm thinking there is a specific policy causing this.
