Hey JoeBG , You as you said you want to back the saved logins , i think you can do this by using the feature "Firefox Sync " , this feature automatically backs up the data of your browser like :- History , Bookmarks etc, on the cloud an then when you even migrate from one system to another firefox or reinstall it again you just have to syn your data and you can get all the stuff back. Don't you need a second device to Sync with Or can you perform a Sync with yourself just by logging in to your Firefox account after you reinstall Firefox

Nope, i don't think that's required as your data will be backed-up on the cloud or i can say servers so you can just access it anytime on any supported device , it's just like Google Drive , just the difference is that your browser data only is backed up here ,so yeah you do one thing , you first sync your data , and then uninstall the firefox as that is what you wished , and whenever you install the firefox again just login to your firefox account again with which you synced your data previously and then sync the data again so technically what you want you can get it back again. I performed the Sync according to directions. But while the Sync reinstalled my bookmarks, it didn't reinstall my add-ons or logins.

Hey JoeBg , I am sorry about what happened , As far as i know , because of our privacy by default logins are not opted out , so you have to choose them manually for backup , and that maybe a possible case that you didn't choosed what to backup , and for the other thing add-ons ,as per my knowledge Firefox don't backup add-ons , it's because they are always available on add-ons store , so you can have them anytime you like. Let me know if this is the case. And I seriously apologise for what happened with your logins. I hope this helps your doubts.

You're right about Firefox not syncing addons, but it definitely is supposed to sync logins, so I`m not sure what happened to mine.

I guess I`ll have to reestablish them again, one by one.
