The today pane does not always advance to next day when the computer is in sleep/hibernate mode before midnight.

It sounds like this bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1589023 but this was closed 4 years ago and was reported as fixed.

Hi all, I work for a Company in north Italy, and we use Thunderbird, before the update we used Thunderbird version 102 and everything worked fine but now after updating, when a calendar entry is made and you add participants they won't receive an invite but will still see it in the calendar itself. I've looked for some options and found this: " https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-email-invitations-caldav-servers-configured " " https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1309527 " I tried them but the option is still grayed out is there any way to fix it without changing our SMTP server?

I have a hosted email service that I access via Thunderbird.

Currently, new events that I create do not show in my calendar.

I create an event:"New event">enter details etc>"save and close" and there's nothing there. I've synced the calendar. FYI, when I create an event via the web interface of my client, it appears in the calendar.

I'm using v115.2.2

Any advice?

When I receive an invitation to a meeting from an external source, Thunderbird correctly interprets it as a calendar entry.

However, after the even passes, I cannot stop reminders, even past the date of the event. And I cannot delete the event from my calendar.

My calendar is hosted on Google. By going directly into my Google account, I can delete the event, just not in Thunderbird.

OS is Windows 7, all updates current.

Thunderbird version 102.15.1. Appears to be current.

Thanks,

cps

Until I updated to Supernova (115.2.2) the CPU usage was low but since the update there is a high usage on a Lenovo Win 10 PC that is up to date.

It seems it is related to the calendar. If the calendar is not brought into focus immediately after starting SuperNova the CPU usage is up around 14%. Once the calendar is brought into focus and I go back to any inbox the CPU usage drops to less than 1%

Hi, I was trying to set up Thunderbird, but I noticed that the calendar was showing incorrect date+time. I did find a very similar issue very similar issue, but that seems to be because of flatpak (which probably isn't the issue here because I am on MacOS).

Current Time (real, also shown in Mac Menu Bar in screenshot): 03:52 of September 23rd. Time shown by Thunderbird: 22:30 (of the previous day apparently - Sept 22nd).

(Also note how the time shown on the calendar has two days combined. Ideally, 22nd Sept and 23d Sept shouldn't be together in the "Day" view).

Additional note: For fun, I created a new event for 23rd Sept at what seems like 01:30. After creating the event, the time seems to be set to 07:00 (which should be right, assuming that the "Waking Up" event is supposed to be at 09:00). Note that if I open the "Waking Up" event, the time is correctly shown.

ThunderBird Information: 115.2.3 (64-bit)

System Information: MacOS Sonoma - Version 14.0 (23A339)

System Timezone is set to be the same as the one in ThunderBird (Automatic Timezone setting in ThunderBird was even more wrong, by more than a day).

Please forgive me if I missed something too obvious.

Thunderbird Calendar Not Sending Out Invitations to Other Addresses

I am using Thunderbird 115.2.3 (32-bit) although this problem began yesterday before I updated to this latest version (which I hoped would fix the issue but it didn't). My operating system is Windows 10 Pro on which I just verified that I have all of its updates.

Supernova has been great until now. Beginning suddenly yesterday and without any setting changes on my part, the Calendar would no longer send out invitations to any other email addresses. The overall behavior is extremely odd.

First, upon entering individual addresses, notice how not only does that address now repeat itself (the two Gmail addresses which are my personal account there) but also that blank lines are inserted below. It never did that before yesterday.

Then, upon sending the invitation, shown in my Sent folder is a very odd "Accepted" message instead of the usual copy of the invitation. Because of what happens next, let me again stress that this shows up almost immediately in my Sent folder.

A few moments later, I receive an "Accepted" message in my Inbox that is an exact duplicate of what previously showed up in Sent. However, I never took such action nor did the invitation ever show up in either my Gmail or, in the case of the second screenshot, my Zoho account which I added to be certain that this wasn't just some weirdness being caused by Google.

I will be glad to provide any other information that might help diagnose this issue.

Have tried many iterations to synch calendars and can now see fetched entries in Thunderbird that were originally entered on my iPhone calendar. However, the reverse is not true, as I cannot see entries entered in Thunderbird on my iPhone calendar. Must be missing a step or two to enable the push from Thunderbird to iCloud so that I can access from iPhone. Any suggestions are appreciated....

When viewing an email that contains a calendar invite, there is no status or buttons at the top of the message to accept/reject the invite or see the status if I've already accepted/rejected. This is true while the message is viewed in the reading pane or as a new tab.

If I open the email in a new window all the normal buttons/status stuff is shown on the top of the window and I can accept/reject the meeting like normal.

Using release 115.2.3.

Is there a way or a fix to allow the invite to be used like normal without having to open in a new window?
