Firefox for Android Community Forum

On July 2nd, I began receiving error messages in emails that connect with Healthcare apps that I need to check settings in my browser for Javascript & turn it back on.

I read in solutions that it's automatic, but there must be a way to activate it again. I even restarted my phone hoping that would solve it.

I have some websites that require pop-ups. I cannot get them to work in Firefox on my Android phone. Google searches reference a setting under "privacy and security" where I should be able to allow pop-ups in general or for certain URLs only, but I don't have that setting option.

I have Firefox version 139.4 if that helps.

I've noticed the apparition of a share icon over the address bar in the most recent version(s), probably since v139 or 140.

I don't mind it as such, I don't mind personally having to tap on the vertical three dots either to access it but in some situations, it is actually taking a bit more real-estate on my address bar than I'd like, in fact making reading the address url impossible.

Is there any chance it could be hidden or at least optional (in settings)?

Guys, the only issue I have is that Firefox for Android can't import/export bookmarks.html. I've tested a few others, especially one called Kiwi, and even Brave. I understand that they're Chromium based, but why can't the same functionality be built into Firefox? I think that the Sync function is too limiting. Other than that, I LOVE Firefox, have used it on PC for years and have always enjoyed the experience. It's just that I use my phone to do a great many things these days, rather than using my laptop, so the bookmark import/export feature would just make it perfect for me 😊. i'm an android phone user (A15) and i really don't like mobile website layouts, particularly when most websites fit elements to the screen aspect ratio instead of letting me pan around a more traditional 16:9 webpage. i've tried all sorts of user agent and javascript spoofing, but nothing really beats firefox's native "desktop site" toggle, but it sadly doesn't stay on across different tabs or sessions and i have to turn it on manually every time. it should be pretty simple to add this feature, and i'm sure that there's a lot of support for it too. thanks!

I noticed on both Android 15 and 16 that the FF app shows 'Ask Bing' (see attachment) when you invoke the copy/select all/search etc. popup. .

I have not found a way to remove this. Any ideas?

i just updated firefox android nightly to 140.0a1 and found a new feature that drive me crazy: it's locked the private tab behind my android fingerprint/password every single time I'm open it (like, from private tab > go to home > enter firefox again)

and i want to disable it completely (please don't ask me to confirmed my fingerprint/password every single time I'm access private tabs) but can't find an option to do so in setting/about:config

so if anyone know how to disabled it please help

I'd like you best you can if you could adjust some settings and enable JavaScript. That's all I really need right now is a JavaScript and of course I'd like to make sure Dev tools are installed as well but full suite
