On some websites Firefox blocks entry of texts in text fields manifested in 2 ways: keyboard in Android pops but no text is entered when typing, or no keyboard pops. The tried refreshing pages, switching to desktop mode, clearing browsing data nothing works. Attempting to report this to a site:https://ambientweather.net. Ultimately I had to download and install a different browser to access the site. I was already logged into the site and other field changes were correctly implemented. On pages with 2 search fields, one site-wide and one in my search context, both fields failed When switching to desktop version, I noticed a typical cookie notice which I hoped was taking the focus away from the other fields but closing that notice did not resolve the problem.

While I assume a design implementation error by sites, this may be related to the ongoing memory conflicts one experiences when doing multiple searches on heavy video sites. As with the old Firefox Android, Firefox slows down and can't seem to dump all it's cache, apparently, to handle more input. in those cases a dump of most browsing data generally clears the problem, but didn't help here. I suspect an underlying Firefox cause because I've seen this over several random sites but with no clear pattern. I just revisited the site above and it works as designed now.

Consider this the equivalent to trying to use a PC without a keyboard, it's really a catastrophic fail.

Although Firefox for Android has support for PWA websites in general,I see that it doesn't detect all pwa websites and creates a simple shortcut instead! For example go to mytuner-radio.com and try to install it as a Pwa, it just creates a shortcut!

If you try this on other browsers like Vivaldi for Android, it installs it as an app, without the need to open the whole browser alongside all the tabs,every time you tap on its icon !

Please fix this and make all sites that support pwa detectable !

I was trying to sign in using the code you sent to my email and once I used the authorized code it was refused. What could be the cause of that. Who could possibly be tampering with my device.

Somehow there's something that keeps popping up my browser every time I plug it into charge or unplug it from charging and I have to delete the tab. Where is the setting on my Android or Firefox for Android that will eliminate pop-ups?

I am experiencing an issue with Firefox on my Poco X7 Pro (HyperOS). Pages in tabs automatically reload when returning to the app after switching away, even after only ~1 minute. This happens despite all of the following:

- Battery optimization disabled (No restrictions) - Background activity allowed - App Lock enabled in Recent Apps - Tabs → Close inactive tabs = Never - Delete browsing data on quit = Off - Developer options → Background process limit = No limit - RAM Plus active (~12GB available)

In comparison, Chromium-based browsers like Vivaldi maintain tabs for hours on the same device without reload.

• • Device:** Poco X7 Pro
  • OS:** HyperOS (please add exact version / Build number)
  • Firefox version:** (147.0.3, e.g., 125.0.1)
  • RAM:** 12GB RAM plus active

• • Steps to reproduce:**

1. Open Firefox and navigate to any web page. 2. Switch to another app or go to Home. 3. Wait approximately 1 minute. 4. Return to Firefox. 5. Observe that the page reloads and previous state (scroll position, forms, media) is lost.

• • Expected behavior:** Tabs should retain their state unless the system completely kills the Firefox process.

• • Actual behavior:** Pages reload automatically, even when the process is still in memory.

• • Logs / Attachments:**

- adb logcat / bugreport (firefox_reload_log.txt or bugreport.zip) - Optional screen recording demonstrating the issue - Timestamps of occurrence for reference

Could you please advise if there is a recommended configuration for HyperOS/Poco devices, or if a workaround exists to improve tab persistence for Firefox (Gecko engine) under aggressive memory management?

Today is February 24th 2026. Sometime today Firefox (Android) just updated itself. Now there's stuff on top, there's stuff on the bottom, (home page, tabs) and I don't care for it very much. How do I go back to the previous version?

In the latest Firefox for android UI change (dear god, why) there appears to be a new toolbar shortcut. Is it possible to turn this shortcut off, so that the top toolbar only shows |address bar|all tabs|settings|, rather than |address bar|shortcut|all tabs|settings|

Ideally, Id like to go back to the old UI, but I have a feeling that that's not happening.

A "dead" vertical space appears at the bottom of the viewport, pushing site navigation and sticky banners (like "Get started") upward. This occurs globally across different websites, not just one.

Youtube's mobile site isn't loading since the new Firefox update. It gets to the attached screen then doesn't go any farther and I can't click on anything. I tried disabling my extensions and this didn't fix the problem. The desktop site loads but is not very mobile friendly.

I am looking for a web browser I can use to manage my company on and I don't know much technology or cyber security and I am anticipating opening my card and collectibles shop within a few months and it took alot to get this far so I don't want to make any decisions that will create any kind of complications with my business. I am looking for one secure browser to use exclusively for my company I already told you it is a card and collectible shop but I will sell online hopefully. So my question is is there anything that I should know about vulnerabilities that could potentially be used to exploit my business

I'm signed in to Firefox on mobile because I want to access my desktop bookmarks, history etc on mobile. But whenever I bookmark a page on mobile it automatically saves to whatever folder I last used on desktop. But I don't want them saved to my desktop bookmarks at all. I don't know how to move them to mobile only and how to stop them from saving into my desktop folders.

I want it back on top not like it is in the screenshot, how do I get it back the way it was. why do you keep changing things not everybody wants to change and then you just change it for everyone without even giving the option to not change it it's ridiculous. If I can't move it back I'll be switching browsers.

First of all, I hope this is the correct place for this feedback. The release announcement page seems to link here, but I'm not totally sure. If not, could you direct me to the correct location?

After I overcame the initial "hey, I didn't want that changed, put it back" phase, I have to say I really like the new design. Especially the overhang menu (the the vertical dots) is much better.

However, there are a few things, that could be improved, I believe.

1. Make the tabs list respect the URL bar top/bottom setting. That would be great for people like me, who regularly close all taps and usually have only 2-3.

1. The same goes for the tabs within the tabs list (private / synced buttons).

1. The buttons at the bottom of the tabs list (new tab and the vertical dots) feel visually unbalanced.

PS: please also note that I'm quite confused on what version I'm on now. This page, the browser and the Playstore all say 147, but I have the changes mentioned in the 148 release notes. Is this one of the remote improvements mentioned by the release notes?
