Moving a bookmark on Firefox on mobile device when opening the bookmark edit if you want to move a bookmark for example for Mobile bookmarks to Desktop bookmarks:

In my case I first click edit, click on the location and edit > Folder and I am showed unlike when I browse my bookmarks where folders are closed, all folders in hierarchy are opened which make for an endless scrolling for minutes trying to find the folder I want to move my bookmark to, as a poweruser who has thousands of folders and bookmarks.

There are ofher browsers where this is reversed and easier to move a bookmark because all folders are closed. Is this a feature that can be added to Firefox?

Also the setting saying you can display bookmarks on home screen, actually its a scrolling banner with most recently saved bookmarks. I miss the old classic Firefox where you could set your new tab and home page as your bookmarks list making it super easy and quick to get everything you need right in front of you without needing extra steps to enter your bookmark lists.

In latest version of firefox for android, 138.0.4 (Build #2016091471), when i touch the bookmarks menu an image flashes up too fast to see. I videoed the screen,slowed down replay and found the image is of a folder with a fox inside and the words "no bookmarks yet" which makes no sense as i have hundreds of bookmarks. Its irritating, how do i stop it?

If I enable bookmark sync my android Firefox bookmarks will mess up all my desktop Firefox bookmarks. Is there a way to import my backed up desktop Firefox bookmarks android Firefox? I have no idea how to fix this. Thank you.

I use Firefox Sync to see my desktop bookmarks on mobile (android) - the latest android update force-sorts all bookmarks alphabetically or time-wise, with no option to leave them in desktop order.

It is now very hard to find what I want in my painstakingly arranged bazillion bookmarks and folders and subfolders and so on...

Please restore the ability on mobile to leave the sort as it is on desktop. At least for the "desktop bookmarks" folder.

I have bookmarks in Firefox (Android) nested several layers deep. Every time I tap the Bookmarks menu item, I am sent to the top level Bookmarks folder, where I then have to tap through several layers of folders to return to the place I was just at. It is maddening.

Is there an option to return to the last Bookmarks folder I viewed? This seems like a basic usability feature. (It's certainly a feature in Brave for Android.)

can the icon of the search bar in bookmarks be set at the top again(if so how) because it's really annoying that I have to click on bookmarks than click at the bottom of my phone screen than to click on search icon after clicking search bar icon to have to click at the top of the screen to than be able to search for the bookmark I'm looking for

For years I've had my bookmarks arranged in a specific order. The day after the most recent Firefox update I discovered that my bookmarks have somehow been rearranged in alphabetical order.

What caused this to happen and how do I prevent it from happening again?

My bookmarks in Firefox Android are not sorted as they are with my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows. The problem started about 4 to 8 weeks ago.

What needs to happen to have Firefox Android sort my bookmarks the same way as my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows, please?

I have about 800 bookmarks spread across four different groups in Firefox for Android. While I am really happy that the latest Android version (138) now allows sorting bookmarks by "New to Old," I would love to see the ability to manually adjust the bookmark order through a long press and drag feature.

Being able to arrange bookmarks manually would significantly improve my experience managing such a large number of bookmarks. I truly appreciate the improvements you've made so far and hope that you will consider adding this feature in a future update.

Is it possible to create a bookmark folder in Firefox for Android that is synced (safety reasons) but it's the default folder for bookmarks on Android? Let me give you an example: I want to have in my bookmarks on my smartphone in a very accessible way, bookmarks for some package tracking websites, like UPS, SkyPostal, etc., but they don't need to be so easily accessible on my desktop. So I still want to sync, something like "Mobile Bookmarks", and view on my desktop when I need, but this is the default bookmark folder just for the mobile. Also I need to be able to duplicate bookmark entries, because the same bookmark, let's say SkyPostal, would be in two different places, an easy item on mobile but a harder to find item on desktop.

I love Firefox for Android, but I wish there was an option button for automatically saving shortcuts, which when turned on or off, would not automatically save the shortcuts on the home screen. Please provide such an option.

Maybe my phone gas issues but I have been using Mozilla for so long, I have acquired many bookmarks. I can't save anymore because mu list is so long & tiresome. It nees a drop-down tab to better organize. Might I also suggest a way to alert owners that there is a page they haven't seen in a long time. Also an organizer that is automated.

There are only available sort "A-Z", 'Z-A', -"newest" and "oldest"

This is very inconvenient, because all of those are inconsistent with desktop Firefox, where manually sorted.

Please add possibility to apply sorting, same as on desktop.
