Firefox for iOS Community Forum

I saw plenty of threads and bug reports about this issue from 2022 and 2023. When I was using Firefox about 2 years ago on iOS, I uninstalled it for this very reason.

I can't believe devs have closed bug fix reports with "no plan to fix" for this issue all the way back in 2023.

REALLY REALLY unacceptable from a browser that's supposed to be a main stream browser. I don't like Safari at all, and refuse to use Google anything so will not use Chrome. Where does that leae me with a decent browser? Nowhere. I love FF on desktop and have been using it for years.

It's mind-blowing that I have to open the tabs section and go back and try to locate the page I was on after simply switching to another app for a second. Who ever heard of such nonsense. Yet it's been being reported for YEARS and the developers refuse to think it's important enough to put some time into fixing.

Trying to access www.hlc.bike on my iphone but I get a cloudflare error 523 that the host can't be reached. I get an error with cloudflare. Browser is working, cloudflare is working but host error. I can visit the site fine on all my devices with firefox but not on my iphone.

Issue is the host is fine and will load on any other devices. This has been happening for a while now and I just can't figure it out. Enhanced tracking is off. Cookies have been cleared etc.

Will load fine on safari, edge and chrome on iOS.

I received a scam (verified by Apple) that my credit card was used for an Apple Store purchase. Now, that link is stuck on Firefox and I can't do anything without dialing their support number, which I am reticent to do. So, Firefox is unusable for me now. I tried to restart my iphone, to no avail.

I went on Apple app store and there are many Firefox downloads from which to choose. I have an iphone 15 Max Pro and the version the internet said to choose isn't among those on Apple's app. You've sent me links and don't seem accessible, at least for me. Before Firefox used to keep private tabs 'open and available' till you closed the page out, for iphones, ipads, etc. Now all my private tabs are closing out every time I close the app. Before there used to be a section in settings that would allow you to turn this feature on/off, however it's not in settings anymore. I wanted to know if there is another way around this. I want to be able to keep private tabs open when I close out Firefox on my phone and ipad.Before I would have all my tabs available jut like regular browsing but now its cleared out evey time. Is there anyway to fix and change this?
