Microsoft recently decided to update Firefox, since when I have found it unusable, particularly where accessing my webmail (on Vox) is concerned. I tried going back to an earlier installation of Firefox and reinstalling that, but still have no luck. Please tell me (although not by email, obviously) how I may access my emails. Telephonic communication is difficult because of weak or often absent signal, but people seem able to reach me on WhatsApp - same number: [edited phone# from public support forum]

Every so often a link goes "bad" on Firefox. After years of being ok, the link won't download or it downloads partially and the wheel of death keeps spinning. The only solution I have found is to switch to Google. This time my earthlink email downloaded but would not allow me to scroll down on an individual page. Then it wouldn't download at all. I don't know if it is connected but an odd graphic has been showing up just before the email loads. Picture a U facing right with jagged teeth closing the U. I really don't want to switch to Google. Please advise.

My system memory is reading at 57% right now in task manager, that the vast majority of that is being used by Firefox.

Why?

Normally, this would be called a flaw in the program, not the user, as all I have done in regards to settings is "keep tabs previous open when re-opening Firefox" and "Do not automatically update" because Firefox took it upon itself to not re-open my previous tabs on the last update.

Why is this program eating up all of that memory? I have "Firefox (15)" in Task manager under "Apps" and then 13 more instances of Firefox in "Backround Processes"

Been using Firefox since the 90s and been on Mac since 2000s. This problem has been happening for about a year, throughout three macbooks (my old one, a temp one, and my new one) and multiple Firefox updates. I'm always updated and always clear cookies daily.

The failure to move bookmarks I can overcome by rebooting Firefox with a Forced Quit. If I only have to do this every few weeks, then no biggy reinserting all my passwords for all the different sites I use (and no, I don't want to use password managers, I don't trust them)

Today it happened within hours of Force Quitting Firefox, this is too much!!!

The only reason I didn't report this problem earlier is I simply expected an eventual newer version of Firefox to fix this bug.

Normal behaviour: click-drag bookmark within bookmark menu pull-down to position where I want bookmark Failure behaviour: click-drag fails to move bookmark, until I reboot Firefox, then it works again

I've been on the phone to Apple support and just returned from the local Apple store and genius bar. My Mac Pro laptop was too old and would not support the newer OS. In installing a OS, I lost my bookmarks and the menu bar that gave easy access. I've since purchased a new Apple Air laptop and everything from the old laptop has been migrated over.

However, working with Apple support and the local genius bar Apple store rep., nobody has been able to help me rebuild the links to a menu bar for quick access. Presently I have some bookmarked. I have to go to the book marks to access any particular URL. All the directions on the web have not provided way to do this!

Recently, every time I turn on email on Yahoo, I get a noisy notification when each email is received. I do not want or like it. It is annoying. How can I turn off the notifications?

Hi ~ The Facebook Container icon is perpetually showing the exclamation point icon no matter if I click out of it or what. I may have tweaked something a couple of weeks ago because that's when it began. I tried uninstalling Facebook Container, then re-installing it, and that only stopped it for a couple of days. To no avail. I just now went into Settings and I don't grok all of that. I can't get rid of it. Can you assist me with this?

I recently bought a new MS Surface Lapop and I am getting a delay (10-15 seconds) when playing any video with sound. I don't have this issue with Chrome so isn't a laptop issue.

I then downloaded Chrome and everything works perfectly.

Can you please tell me how to get this site working properly on my computer, as I don't want Chrome on my computer.

Hello!

Switching between tabs used to be instant. Ever since updating to v133, it takes over a second (both through the Ctrl-Tab shortcut and through clicking on another tab in the tab bar), which is really really bothering me.

The tab bar has also started taking over a second to react visually when I hover over it with the mouse, even with thumbnail previews disabled. I have no idea what's causing this. Please help.

I cannot enter any text when I load firefox. The cursor just sits there blinking. Finally firefox unlocks and I can type. Like this questionaire I'm typing. I have been on this page for almost ten minutes trying to fill out this form. Now I can type something. If I stop, Firefox may lock up again. What is happening?

'Linked In' technical support are telling me that I am unable to see certain pages on their system most likely because my Firefox Browser (which is fully up to date) is using DNS. They said to remove DNS. Is this wise advice and if so how do I do that and what difference will it make to my day to day use of firefox?

I am getting Secure Connection failed Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR is there a way to bypass this. I tried 5 suggestions on YouTube and followed FireFox's directions for Avast, with no success.

I am trying to set the default Map application to Google Maps, which is the best. Apple is the worst. I like the Duck Duck, and want to keep it, but this map problem doesn't even allow Google Maps to appear in the search results!

This is an hard problem for me -- Apple sold out a long time ago and offer an inferior app.

Is there any solution?

logged into mozilla and it ended up in a loop where it kept asking me to turn on caret browsing. every time I hit no it popped right back up immediately. I hit to stop showing the box and clicked no, but now every time I hit the shift key it opens some developer tool box in the bottom of the screen. hitting f7 again does nothing. i can't get the box to come back. i can't make it stop. everything I am seeing online is not helping or references tools or options that i can't locate in firefox. please help.

Hello! After the recent update, any text I insert remains without spaces and all words are written together. I disabled all extensions: no result. The problem did not occur in other browsers.
