Hello,

I've had this issue for quite some time. Whenever I'm using the Firefox browser and it is the front focused window, Windows changes my audio volume to 50% whether I have it set manually below or above that. Whenever I move focus/minimize the Firefox browser, the volume goes back to my manually selected volume globally for my PC. This doesn't happen with any other application.

I've unchecked the option on all audio outputs "Allow Applications To Take Exclusive Control Of This Device" located by right clicking "sounds" on the speaker system tray then "playback" and "advanced". Which didn't fix the problem.

When installing Firefox, there is an option to import data from another browser. That feature is also available in the "Library -> Import and Backup -> Import data from Another Browser", and it imports things like Bookmarks and History from another browsers.

As the functionality already exists, is it possible to use that functionality in any way to import Bookmarks and History from a different profile in the same Firefox installation? I want to merge 2 different browsing history (like the old question https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/928204), and looks like using the "Import data from Another Browser" could help if it's possible to use it with another Firefox profile/directory.

How to remove duplicated entries in history only differenced by URI fragment

When navigating in some pages, specially in google docs, the browser's URI fragment (the part after the #) changes frequently for each page/header/slide, and all of them are stored in the history.

That behavior adds lots of entries in the history and also hinders the usage of the search functionality of the address bar (as all the duplicates are shown instead of shown only one and other pages). I want to keep one entry per document, at least in specific pages like gdocs where the "fragment" doesn't add any useful information and each document can have lots of them.

Is there any way to configure that behavior, to not save every fragment in the history?

To reproduce the above behavior (the same behavior happens in other pages, not only gdocs):

- Open any gdocs document with several headers, or a gdocs presentation with several pages. - Navigate all the document/presentation, and check the history. - Close the document/presentation tab/window. - In a new window/tab, use the address bar to search the document/presentation by the document name: several entries for the same document/presentation are shown (and if they are lots of them, no other different entries with same words are shown in the address bar). - Check also the history: several entries of the same document/presentation are shown (it could be hundreds for long documents, and thousands after seen few documents).

Any idea why Firefox audio is cracking? I tried with both 64 bit and 32 bit Firefox.

Is it possible to filter my history by device so I can see only what sites I’ve visited on my computer vs.my other devices?

I had a private window open when I closed Firefox to update, and when I re-opened Firefox all of my previously open tabs had disappeared! (Private tab gone of course, but all of the tabs in my usual window were gone and no way to "re-open" that session.

Weird unreadable font randomly appears on some texts while I am using Mozilla Firefox Browser 106.0.4 (64-bit). It is really random: I can access a webpage and the issue appears. I go to the same page a few minutes later and everything works fine. I can be using Firefox for few days without any issue, and suddently it starts again.

I attach two images showing two last times when it happened.

When I run Firefox in troubleshooting mode I can log into citibank. When I return to normal I cannot. I've turned one extension after another off. None of them seem to be causing the problem.

Firefox gives a 404 error message when I try to access the donation page on a website. It didn't do this 3 days ago. I've cleared the cache, deleted history and updated, and it still gives this message. When I use Microsoft edge, I can access the page so I know that it is there and works in another browser.

Hello,

Before you tell me this is not a Firefox issue - this option is disabled in my Google account. I closed the browser, rebooted the PC, yet this annoying pop up on every site I visit is driving me insane.

Is there anything in Firefox that I can update/change to make it stop?
