Since last Friday I haven't been able to access any of my bank accounts with US Bank. I can access these accounts through my US Bank phone app and through Chrome when I use it on my laptop as browser. When I called US Bank IT they could not help because the phone app and Chrome worked. What's happening with Firefox? I have used it for years to get to these accounts, and now I am unable to.

Firefox for Windows hangs when I copy text, either by Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C or by using a right-click menu. The browser just stops responding. It doesn't crash. Eventually, it will return and behave normally.

I tried removing all extensions and closing all open tabs. No change. I'm out of ideas. I suspect it may be trying to synchronize with something it can't find or there's network latency. Task Manager shows it's using a lot of resources. It doesn't do it every time, just often enough to be frustrating.

The attached image shows Chrome and Firefox accessing the exact same URL at the exact same time. Chrome is successful, Firefox is not (actually, fails over and over). So . . . wut? Clearly not a network problem, clearly not an accessibility problem, there is no firewall or proxy and Firefox is able to access other sites. Only this one is a problem. At least, so far. Security setting is Standard.

Hi everyone,

lately I started experiencing a font-family-related issue. On certain websites the font-families/styles look broken. I tried troubleshooting the issue by myself without any luck. What I did so far was reset my Windows fonts to default, reinstall Firefox and look what font-families are loaded through the Inspect tool. If I opened the same web page in Chrome the font looks OK. Two websites the issue is most visible at - support.fiverr.com and gmail.com when someone replies to my e-mail.

Trying to use ProctorU with Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 11 Home, and I am getting the following message : "Monitor Count : You may only use 1 monitor during your exam. Your monitor count could not be found". I searched for possible fixes, and someone mentioned removing fingerprinters, and possibly also remove cookies and tracking content from Firefox enforcement. I removed all 3 and that did not help. I also tried clearing cookies and site data and also cached web content, this did not help. Is there some other setting in Firefox that might be preventing the detection of the monitor count? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

I keep getting alerts from Norton while browsing ran Norton's scan and MBAM then ran Norton's Power Eraser. I did not fine the source of the problem. I added an entry to my hosts file hoping it would block the IP but it doesn't seem to work, I may have done something wrong. When I click the download button I usually see my recent downloads and click open the file directly from the drop down. After 10-20 downloads are performed the drop down no longer shows my recent files until I restart firefox. I think the issue is once you hit a certain amount of downloads the preview drop down no longer works. Is this a know bug? Its happening on any pc, im on version 104.0.2 (64-bit)

Hi!

Is there any settings or about:config settings or addons that disable upgrading HTTP to HTTPS for images? I have HTTPS site which redirects from HTTP to HTTPS from server side so I cant visit it on HTTP mode. This HTTPS only site uses external images from HTTP only site that does not speak HTTPS.

Firefox writes in browser console: > Content Security Policy: Upgrading insecure request ‘http://site.com/someimage.jpg’ to use ‘https’

How do I disable this behavior? Any about:config settings or browser addons to get rid of this?

When I visit Dailymail.co.uk, it shows a video clip (there is a link in the video box to play the 'full video') but there is no audio:

I have suddenly lost all audio in firefox using youtube. My Audio works fine in windows and i can play and hear all windows sounds, mp3 etc...The audio also works fine in Edge browser and Chrome browser. So it looks like an issue with firefox, The audio is not muted or disabled in any way its just silent when playing back youtube

I've been having trouble with the Primary Password on Firefox for years. Sometimes it didn't ask me for it at all, sometimes randomly after half an hour and now since a year I've been having to type it in three times in total, before Firefox let's me do my thing. What's really weird: The second time the pop-up comes up there are already some characters in the password field and I have to delete them to start typing my Primary Password anew. But lately it always takes three times of typing in the password, until the pop up doesn't come up again. That's stealing a lot of my time and I have no idea what's the reason or what's causing it.

Can anybody help out?

Recently, files that I download from online have been going into Microsoft's very convenient little folder called, "Downloads."  ::: rolls eyes :::

At first, I chalked this up to being distracted and having not chosen the location to where I wanted something downloaded - I have always preferred downloading to a specific location of my choosing. However today, when I went to download a receipt, and thinking about where the best place was to put it, progress for the download was immediately displayed - I was never presented with a window allowing me to navigate to a location.

When it happened the second time, and finding another file I had downloaded a week ago in the "Downloads" folder, I went into settings. I discovered that under DOWNLOADS, in the box, "Save files to:" it has "Downloads." But below that, I have a checkmark beside, "Always ask you where to save files," as I have always done.

I cannot remove "Downloads" from the box. If I clik the "Browse" button next to that box, my only option would be to pick another location, which of course, will simply become another *permanent* download location.

Shouldn't my checkmark by "Always ask" over-ride what's in the "Save files to" box?

How do I fix this?
