Hi Sharon

This does not sound like an issue with Firefox for Android, but I will do my best to help.

If you open the Android "Settings" app (typically a cogwheel icon) and scroll to the bottom of the list, you may see an option "About device" or "About tablet". Select this and you should see the version number listed under "Android version".
