I accidently enable the claendar in thunder bird and want to disable it i do not need i do not have lightening installed how do iremove todays pane and disable the claendar

I accidently enable the claendar in thunder bird and want to disable it i do not need i do not have lightening installed how do iremove todays pane and disable the claendar

The Today Pane has an X at the top-right corner for closing it. To disable calender, switch to the calendar tab and delete all calendars. Lightning is now a core part of Thunderbird, it no longer comes as an add-on to be installed separately.

The Today Pane has an X at the top-right corner for closing it. To disable calender, switch to the calendar tab and delete all calendars. Lightning is now a core part of Thunderbird, it no longer comes as an add-on to be installed separately.
