Can’t sign in to outlook

I’ve recently done a fresh install of windows on my computer. Upon installing Firefox I’ve found I’m unable to sign into outlook or my Microsoft account. I’ve tried installing nightly, Firefox, and even waterfox in attempts to sign into either Microsoft or outlook and none have worked. I can sign in perfectly on chrome, edge, and even internet explorer. I’ve tried clearing cache and cookies and even deleting anything Mozilla related on my computer. Nothing seems to work

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Hi evjohnson16, if the above suggestions do not resolve the issue, could you describe what is happening or not happening in more detail? As you know, if you start with a mailbox address such as:

then the site should redirect the browser to a sign-in page. And then after you sign in, it should redirect the browser back. So there are several steps where you might get an error, a blank page, or a silent failure. It would be useful to know where you are running into trouble.
