When adding a bookmark, how can I search a folder by name instead of finding it with the mouse pointer?

I find the way of finding the correct bookmark folder quite cumbersome. What do you think about adding a folder search to the bookmark dialog?

In addition, if I have the following bookmark folder structure:

  • Folder A
    • My Folder
  • Folder B
    • My Folder

The bookmark dialog will display My Folder twice, without me having a chance to distinguish the two. Maybe we can think about some sort of breadcrumb mechanism, or just a tooltip that tells me where that folder sits.

You are correct there is nothing in Firefox to Search your Folders or Contents of them. If you would like to make a suggestion you can do that from the 3 Bar Menu --> Help --> Submit Feedback.
