Can't get Lightning back. I read that it is buldled in TB v38 and greater but I cannot find it.
Hi.
I have been using Thunderbird for quite a few year. Several versions ago of TB, I upgraded and lost Lightning (ie. no options for calendar or tasks). It may have been v38.0.
I was not able to reinstall it the normal way by selecting it from "Get Add-ons". It looked like it installed but when I clicked the "Restart", it restarted TB but was still not installed. I was able to get it back by downloading a version of Lightning 4.0.4.1 directly as an .xpi file and then installing it thru the "Install Add-on from a File..." option.
I just upgraded to v38.7.0 and Lightning is again gone.
Now I read that Lightning is bundled with TB as of v38 (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-lightning-thunderbird) but I can not find how to invoke it / see it.
Please advise whether Lightning is indeed bundled or not and how I can get it back. Also, what if anything do I need to do to keep my existing calendar & task data.
Thanks in advance!
