Firefox for Android Community Forum

I'd like to try out the built-in VPN, but can't find it. I've seen many older posts about this, but nothing recent. It's now August of 2026.

I'm using Firefox 154.0.1 on Android 16. I'm in the United States.

I'm logged into my browser with my Firefox account. I know it's working as I can open browser tabs between my mobile device and other devices using my account.

I'm not seeing the built-in VPN feature.

"VPN" does not appear in Settings as described in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mobile-android-vpn

By comparison, attached is a screenshot of what I have in Settings > Privacy and Security.

Any guidance?

My old Mozilla password doesn't seen to work anymore. I need to create a new one before I can sign in....there us no "forgot oassword" key....to create a new one....

After installing firefox on my phone, tried to use, and got "unable to connect", tried a few fixes from other similar threads, but still nothing. Toggled with the https-only mode , dns of http. Even went to the app settings on my phone and gave it all permission and still nothing. Phone things: Name-Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ Model-Infinix X6880

While using Firefox Mobile browser, requesting the desktop site doesn't work. It doesn't load the actually desktop site, just a smaller version of the mobile site. I have checked to ensure M. Isn't in the address.

When I request the desktop site on Chrome browser to loads the actual desktop site. I've included screen shot of both browsers showing Firefox is still showing mobile menus

Description: In the mobile version of Firefox, the top browser toolbar containing the address bar does not hide when entering text into a text field. As a result, a significant amount of screen space is taken up, especially when the on-screen keyboard is open.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a page in Firefox on a mobile device. 2. Tap any text field. 3. Open the on-screen keyboard. 4. Start entering text. 5. Observe the top browser toolbar containing the address bar.

Actual result: The browser toolbar with the address bar remains visible while entering text and does not hide.

Expected result: When text input begins and the on-screen keyboard appears, the top browser toolbar should hide to provide more space for the content and text field.

Environment:

- Browser: Firefox for Android - Version: 153.0.4 - Device: Mobile IQOO Z10 - Screen orientation: Portrait

Additional information: The issue occurs specifically while entering text: even though the on-screen keyboard is open, the browser's top toolbar remains visible.

Just wanted to resest password and move forward the code sent doesn't let me back to the page to enter it. So I waste time trying to find it. Just refresh my account. New phone new deal.

Android Severe page loading issues on Google, X, Facebook, and Cloudflare verification sites (Last 3 days)

Dear Firefox Engineering and Support Team,I am writing to report a critical browsing issue that started occurring about 3 days ago. This issue severely impacts page loading on major platforms and makes browsing nearly impossible.

1. My Device Environment:OS: Android 12Affected Versions: Firefox Beta (Primary), Firefox Nightly, and Firefox Stable (All are updated to the latest versions).

2. Detailed Description of the Issues:Google.com: When searching for keywords, the browser frequently encounters a "Page failed to load" / "Unable to connect" error. If the search page manages to load, switching to the "Images" tab instantly triggers the page load error again.

Social Media: The exact same page loading failure happens frequently when trying to access x.com (Twitter) and facebook.com.

Cloudflare Captcha Verification: On websites requiring Cloudflare verification via Google search clicks, the browser immediately crashes or kicks me out of the page right after clicking. I have to attempt accessing the link repeatedly (several times) to finally get through.

Desktop Mode Trigger: On all tested Firefox versions, forcing the view from "Mobile mode" to "Desktop mode" immediately and consistently triggers the page loading error. 3. Troubleshooting Steps I Have Already Taken (with NO success):

Cleared all browser cookies and cache.

Completely uninstalled and re-installed all Firefox versions (Stable, Beta, Nightly).

Removed all extensions and tested on a completely fresh, vanilla installation with zero add-ons installed, but the bugs still persist.

Since this issue happens across all Firefox release channels (Stable/Beta/Nightly) even on fresh installations, I suspect it might be related to network stack rendering, user-agent handling, or an incompatibility introduced in a very recent upstream update affecting Android 12.

I would highly appreciate your investigation and guidance on how to resolve this.

I can't open up twitter (x.com) on firefox beta, and everytime i load up the page it's always give me the error "sorry, Firefox beta can't load that page". This doesn't happen to any other page and just works fine last week.

Yeah already reset it once, lost all of my passwords,bookmarks and anything else you said let me keep these so you can restore your browser if something happens...YOU did not say they would be restored if YOU messed with the browser and screwed things up! IT DOES NOT WORK NOW! So these question and answer games are just a waste of time and for you to play little games, Will look for another browser that I know works!

Laptop, tablet and mobile have many different accounts with passwords which I spend half of my day recovering, authenticating and creating another and try to transfer my data and alot was missed. Doo you have a solution?
