Firefox will not allow me to login to my mail a/c which I have had for more than 20 years. Because of this I cannot access a code to access my MS Outlook a/c This message shows:

'Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to webmail.mercuryin.es. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.' AND tells me that there is nothing I can do about this.

I realize Facebook doesn't have a spell check feature,but is there a way my browser, Firefox, which I already have spell check enabled can somehow spell check Facebook when I chat? Can someone help? Thank you.

It is useless. I tried to restore 3953 items from a previous back up and received the message "Unable to process the backup file".

I am not interested in hearing how to prevent this problem in the future, because obviously creating backups do not work.

How do I check to see if the problem was caused by security software, even though I have not added anything?

I installed mozilla firefox on my desktop computer 5 years ago At the time, my email address was davsue@myfairpoint.net This email no longer exists my new email address is davsue123@gmail.com I signed out of firefox I want to sign in again It sends me a confirmation email to davsue@myfairpoint.net that doesn't exist Can't retrieve the email to verify my account Now what? haven't been able to set davsue123@gmail.com as a secondary email

I am having a problem with the Audio and Closed Caption The CC leads the Audio by 40 seconds to a minute. Very frustrating... I seem to only have this problem with HULU and Prime Video. All other streaming platforms work great. I am using Windows 7 64 bit

I have this problem CONSTANTLY with 100.0. i keep 2 browsers open, (1 Email, 1 ebay) After 5-10 minutes, firefox "Loses" internet connection. and i have to clear the startup cache, to get back online, only for it to happen again... and again, and again, and again! Didnt have this issue with the previous update. PLEASE HELP! and please keep the answers simple, im not well versed in programming language

I will be moving all of my data to a new laptop and want to know if I need to have both my personal Firefox profile and the "default-release" profile backed up. The "default" one is over 3GB and has over 20k files in it, and my personal one is only 113 MB with 1300 files — and my thumb drive needs all the extra space it can get. (Why would the "default-release" profile be so much larger than my personal one?)

The old laptop runs on Windows and the new one will have the Linux OS. Will that make a difference in using a backed up Firefox profile? I mean, will the data still work in the new OS?

I was having some issue by picking up my laptop and pressed some buttons on the right side of the keyboard. Then I saw for a second an notice screen on the right. Low in the firefox screen. But I didnt recognize what it said to me.

Now my back key doesnt work to go back on pages. It work before

When I press the back button on the keyboard it says in an little notice window that dissapear after 3 seconds.

So I think I could been pressing some key combination to disable or activate how my keyboard should work in firefox.

So I wounder how to reset all settings and configurations in firefox to standard

The satellite imagery on google maps is mirrored diagonally, while the road map displays correctly over it. Win7, Firefox 108.0.2. started happening with Firefox 107.x.x and tried resetting Firefox, but no luck. Satellite imagery displays correctly in troubleshoot mode and private browsing. Cleaned out my cookies and cache, but no dice in regular browser.

Anyone have experience with that?

A friend has passed away and I cannot access her obituary page. I could for a couple of days but I can't any more. Is this a problem with the FF latest upgrade? The page is [link removed by moderator]

I have just discovered the page works ok on Chrome so I will use that for now, but I am reporting the problem to try and help you. I am using latest version of Firefox.

I have added a screen snip of the part-loaded page.

I just followed the button below about extra troubleshooting information and lost all the information I had typed into this box, which irritates me as well.

Hello there. Ever since the latest update (to 115.0.2), I've been experiences random crashes. It's only happening with these 2 sites: https://www.mapsofworld.com/ and https://www.buongiorno.sk/ (there may be more but I haven't discovered any others as of yet). I open the sites and FF immediately shuts down. And then, after I restart it, there are no crashes listed in the logs (about:crashes). I've tried everything. Cookies, cache, a "refresh", a fresh install and I've also checked my system and HDD for errors but nothing helped. Any idea what I should do? The problem seems to be on your side, not mine

Has update to Firefox 115.1.0esr (64-bit) broken things for other users as well? The update applied itself about 20 minutes ago, and then I tried to log in to my Hostinger account. Instead of the two-factor authentication kicking in as normal, I got a message about a Captcha check failed - even though there is no captcha.

So I went to google, typed in my search term, hit return, and instead of google going searching, I got a new line in the search box!

Google Chrome browser (which I hate) is still working fine. So is someone going to fix this? (I seem to get daily messages from Firefox about a new update available), so hopefully....

Sorry about the confrontational tone - I'm from an era when software was tested before it was released, not released and then fixed daily! And that was a bitchy remark too!
