Hello! I was reading a pdf file in Firefox, and I wanted to bookmark a page to read it later. Unfortunately, on the top right hand corner, I can't find the bookmark button (the ribbon button), and in the settings there is no way to find it or the option related.

Firefox 123, Windows 11

I have been watching SBS OnDemand successfully until today. I now receive a consistent Video Playback error on any video using Firefox Ver 124.0.1.  I do not have an Adblocker installed. (Windows 11 Pro 23H2).  I do have AVG Internet Security installed.  I installed no apps. I turned off Enhanced Protection for sbs.com.au in Firefox but the problem persists. The problem does not occur on Chrome.

I reinstalled my computer from scratch with Windows 11, before this reinstallation I had Windows 10. Now I noticed that with the newest Firefox version 109 (that I also had before with Windows 10) and Windows 11 my multirow bookmarks toolbar doesn´t work anymore. Before the reinstallation it worked with the following code:

I already tried some other codes that I found in the internet but none of them worked. I have this code in the file userChrome.css, this file is in a chrome folder and this folder is in my profile folder. Can anybody tell me what I have to do to make the multirow bookmarks toolbar working again?

I have encountered PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR for the last few days. All websites cannot be accessed. I tried to uninstall/reinstall Firefox several time and nothing works. My system is Windows 11 Home, Version 22H2, Installed on ‎2/‎7/‎2023, OS build 22621.4037. Kaspersky Anti Virus is 21.3.10.319(m).

AI "summaries" or "explanations" have been popping up in front of actual useful text that I want to read. How do I disable this AI summarizer or turn it off? If this removes an AI chatbot, even better.

Started up Firefox today and these whited out boxes started appearing over my search bars and random part of the screen, such as the descriptions of different articles on my home pages, extension and theme information in my settings, and different tabs (see pictures 1 and 2). The text is also white, making it almost impossible for me to see what I'm typing or selecting in the search bar (picture 3).

I've already tried some tips that I found on the forums such as changing the hardware accelerator, making sure my extensions and add-ons were up to date, etc. When I go into troubleshooting mode, the boxes disappear and Firefox functions normally, but when I tried turning off all my add-ons and themes on the regular browser, the problem still wasn't fixed. I did a full refresh of the browser, hoping that would help to reset whatever was causing the issue, but that didn't help either.

Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

this is definitely a unique issue i have not ever had, LOL

i'm running into a very strange issue where only the roblox page is not loading properly. everything else seems to work just fine; trying to load roblox on google chrome works fine too! ive turned off my extensions and run it in troubleshoot mode, i've updated the browser and my pc and my drivers, nothing seems to want to fix it. i'm not very sure what's going on. it's very funny, but definitely troublesome- the website is not navigatable in this state.

it randomly popped up like this last night, i was under the impression roblox itself was down because my friend in the call at the time had been talking about how slow the site is. upon digging deeper and asking around, nobody else is having the issue i'm having so i'm lead to believe its a me issue

On two occasions all of the favicons for my Bookmarks have disappeared. The only way I have been able to restore them is to open each bookmark using "Open All in Tabs" for each Bookmark folder. As I have many hundreds of Bookmarks, this is an extremely time consuming process. I have done this twice. I have just encountered a third instance of this problem and would like to avoid doing it again if there is any other way to restore the favicons.

I had saved the favicons.sqlite files from the Profile, but I am unaware of any way to restore the favicons directly from this file. The favicons.sqlite file appears to be of the proper size, i.e. ~17KB. On the last occasion, following a suggested solution, I rebuilt the iconcache hoping it would also rebuild the favicons, but that was not the case. As a result, I used the above process.

Any solutions to restore the Bookmark favicons without opening all with "Open All in Tabs" would be greatly apprecuated. I don't know what has caused the favicons to disappear. I am running Firefox 129.0.2 on a Windows 11 Pro PC.

On my Windows-11 Laptop, the Vertical-Scroll-Bars in Firefox are too narrow for me to use comfortably. I am struggling with the Touch-Pad, Mouse Pointers, causing the frequently needed act of Scrolling to become a dreaded ordeal? If someone would provide clear and concise instruction on how to make the Vertical-Scroll-Bars the Classic Width of old, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! lg

I don't know what happened, I haven't been tinkering with anything. This happens for every video, not just this one. I've also posted my addons as well, in case that helps with anything.

On some webpage, I experience delay response when I trying to search sometime. For example, in Google homepage after typing something or even gibberish the page froze and not responding for about 10 second but the browser is still functioning (meaning I can still move other tabs or open option). Once that 10s delay is over, it responded with my result. And something when I when to search back something again(not in the homepage), more of the time is response back fast like 0.2s but other time the same 10s delay. This problem also happens in some other website but not all in their search bar. I have try in safe mode. disable all my extension, reinstall Mozilla Firefox, check any windows update and such. Also other browser does not have this problem such as chrome and brave. If this problem still persisting then I would such to other browser but prefer not to as I quite fond of Firefox. am running firefox 127.0.1 on a windows 11 desktop. Numerous sites that use a captcha to login fail. In other words, the captcha never loads and I cannot login to those sites. Such sites include teamfaderpro, Coursera, and bandcamp. All logins fail as the captcha is required to be passed prior to logging in, but the captcha never appears and so when I try to log in, nothing happens and I cannot login.

I have tried the above same sites on the Edge browser and have no such issue, the captcha shows and I can login.

Just FYI, the agent switcher setting change recommended by others previously is not suitable. When I tried that fix I was unable to access a considerable percentage of the internet due to some cloudflare issue, so the agent switcher setting is not an option. So far, I have tried all recommended settings to fix this issue and nothing has worked.

I am surprised no one else is having this issue.

Any help is appreciated, or at least inform google/mozilla about this issue as it has been ongoing (on and off) for me for many months. And yes, this problem is persistent for me at the moment, it remains despite rebooting windows, despite clearing cookies and cache (which I have set to automatically delete when exiting firefox).

The camera won't turn on in the Firefox browser for Google Meet or Zoom. It says it can't find the camera or that it's turned off. I have checked my Windows 11 settings and desktop apps have access to the camera. I have also checked the settings for each of the sites and use of the camera and microphone are allowed. Autoplay is enabled too. The camera works fine in other apps and in other browsers.

Hi. I am running a 3 monitor setup and I like to keep open quite a few tabs. And two windows of Firefox. So two Firefox instances with several tabs on each. But because it eats a lot of memory, I have to close and reopen Firefox from time to time. And to my annoyance, sometimes it "forgets" about one of the windows. So opens only one instead of both. Therefore I loose some quite important tabs. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you.

I hope this message finds you well! I use two versions of Firefox: the stable one and the developer one.

The developer version is set to start with the Windows start and is set to be minimized on the Windows try but since some years Firefox, as other browser do, never load the page or the tab content if the tab or the window is not active, been seen by the user.

I'm asking if there is some hidden settings in the about:config that allow me to disable this and let Firefox load tabs or page always, not only when the tab or windows is seen by me.

I've been using Mozilla Firefox since ... well, before Firefox, I used Netscape, your great-great-grandfather.

I am not blind. I have some issues with visual objects on web pages like scroll bars when you can't effectively use them. They are too thin. Mozilla has had complaints about this since 2022.

Please Fix them. Otherwise I may have to migrate to Chrome or Edge and leave my Mozilla legacy behind for a differnent fork in browsers. It's a dealbreaker folks. People will leave this browser and probably are every day for one stupid reason. Scroll bars than are inaccessible without using something like windows magnifier when you need to scroll.\

I am having an issue with Firefox and video playback, specifically on YouTube. When I play a video in default view mode, the playback is super choppy / low frame rate. When I change to theatre view or full screen, playback works perfectly.

I've tried incognito windows and troubleshooting mode with no improvement.

Microsoft Edge works fine.

Not sure where to go from here.
