The refresh button in my firefox desktop browser suddenly disappeared. One day the usage was normal, but on the next launch of the browser, there was no refresh button. I currently use the "F5" button to refresh but it would be better to use the button again.

I think I will just permanently turn off automatic updates because Firefox suggest has just turned itself on again. I want to retain my search and form filling history like I always do but not have it automatically appearing when I am searching something in the search bar. this is a matter of privacy and Firefox still makes the same mistake over and over again. I can't get an IT job but this guy who keeps making the same mistake every time, angering millions of users every update still gets to keep his??? And the most hurtful thing is, we cant even talk to the people who make it directly to tell them they are messing up, I am speaking to a guy who has nothing with making the damn thing, who is probably just going to tell me to delete everything, which defeats the purpose of keeping history on.

How to close status bar of the search bar when inputting? When I input a search key word, below will show a status(or a remind) bar. This is very annoying, how to turn it off? Thank you!

I got a notification from Firefox to update the browser. Which is fine. But, when I tried to go to History to delete the downloads and previous months history. It will not allow me to delete the months history. It does nothing.

I hope you have a resolution for this issue. Thanks.

Dear All, I recently reinstalled Windows and updated to the latest Firefox. When I tried to sign in to sync/restore my bookmarks, Firefox could not recognize my password. I reset it and used the new password, but the bookmarks that appeared were outdated, and not all information synced to my current account.Could you please advise on the steps (or a quick solution) to fix this?Many thanks for your support in advance.Kind regards, Tareq Zeyad

I am running Firefox 149.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10. FF tells me that there is an update. I downloaded the update, and when I restart FF, it does not update. Version 149.0 is re-started, and Help --> About Firefox again tells me to restart to upgrade. I have tried the upgrade at least three times.

I struggled some time with download links, no matter what filename I specified in the download="filename" attribute, the file I got was always download(1..n). Now I put all into one zip archive. I have a german and an english page, the link is:

. I can't see a difference except the language. But: the download of the german link comes as "download.zip". The one from the english one as "backup.zip". WHY???

how do i delete this it shows in area where my email contact s should appear

When I'm on websites and there is a share or actually any button or link to click on to share to Facebook, Insagram, etc... Nothing happens on the page. It just sits idle. I can go to Chrome or Edge and I'm able to share from those browsers.

I had recently tried to download a .Zip file, which got corrupted. I tried twice again. Now every time I open the browser the three corrupted files pop up in the "downloads" window. It does not appear when opening a new tab, only when starting the browser. I have deleted the corrupted folders and don't want to retry downloading. I have tried both "clear all downloads" and "remove from history" in the downloads window, but the notification still shows up. Settings do not help.

How can I remove this pop-up? It blocks my toolbar and is a general nuisance.

HI i have an ASUS-VivoBook laptop that has an intel i5 10th gen and geforce mx250 with 8gb ddr4 ram when i use firefox it uses about 550 mb ram alone on one page only is that supposed to happen ? if not how can i reduce my ram usage and power usage from settings and thank you for this amazing web browser i realy like the animated castle town from deltarune theme i am never going back to chrome THANKS ALOT

bold text I am getting a flood of messages about viruses from McAfee and Monzilla Firefox ESR. Not sure if these are real or a scam to click on a link. Need some help in how to stop messages or find out if my laptop is infected with viruses.
