I have successfully installed Bitdefender Securepass extension on Firefox and enabled it. As far as I know I am not usinf private window but I have no Icon to click on to open

extension as I previously had with Bitdefender Password Manager.

places.sqlite: this file records EVERY website I've ever visited in a db table! This despite opting out of History and flushing daily It's frustrating that FF surreptiously collects such personal info. Why record every site I visit, date-timestamps, frequency, etc.?

As test, I changed the name to places-sqlite.old to see if FF will create a new one It didn't make a new table; re-created the old one.

I need to update FF because of the expired certificates, but would like to clear these out first. Similarly, can I get rid of the icon database? My bookmarks are backed up as JSON and HTML files. I just wished they didn't contain extraneous info

I've tried everything that was suggested under the settings tab for password saving. I have enabled it for all websites, and yet FF is not saving any of my passwords. I also tried to import my PWs from Google. Still blank. What next?

Somehow, my sign-in on Coinbase is now asking for me to insert a USB device into my computer as a passkey, and that is there because of Mozilla Firefox. I tried a couple weeks ago to sign in, after my phone was broken, and in the process this new way of requiring me to have some USB device came about, now I cannot log into my Coinbase account, cannot buy or sell, do anything because Mozilla is requiring me to use a non-existent USB drive with a digital passkey. I cannot call and talk to Coinbase, and I have no idea how to reach Mozilla to cancel this either.

Hi I installed a new Windows but forgot my Firefox password. Please help me get my information back. I had multiple passwords and a long history in my account. I have been using Firefox for years. I can authenticate however you want. Please I need my information.

I think I have wrong version of FireFox on computer, because I signed in with old password I think I used on old windows 8 computer. I have a windows 11 laptop.bold text

I use Firefox on all my devices. I recently had to replace an hp laptop for water damage. I have a new Chrome book (CB) that's replaced the laptop. I ran into a problem once I installed the Firefox app on the CB. I'm having trouble getting passwords and contacts to sync from my Samsung mobile phone. I was able to get into Firefox on the CB by changing my password. However, I can't get the Samsung device and the CB to sync passwords and contacts. Can you help me with this?

I can sign in on Safari but cannot sign in with Firefox. "Username and password do not match." They match in Safari.
