After the last Linux upgrade to 36.0.2 the password or user name hot links only work once. The first time the link is gray and will activate. The second time I try and use this feature the link is not gray and will not activate.
Every time this happens I have to close Firefox and reopen it. Then I get one more shot at auto loading a password before it stops working.
You can't really as it is a necessary evil.
Thanks

Is there a password manager that is part of or compatible with Foxfire?
I would like for Firefox to NOT save passwords as default. Don't even ask! Where is the setting to disable password saving?

I have a handful of different reddit accounts. Each has its own password and they're all saved in Firefox's default password manager.
Say I'm logged out and go to log in. If I click on the first field, which is "Email or username," I'm given only two options: one is my email and the other is one of the usernames. If I click on the second field, which is "Password," I'm given all the passwords I've saved.
Obviously, when I click on "Email or username", I want all the saved usernames to appear. If I could select a password and that would auto-fill the appropriate username, that would be almost as good, but that doesn't work either.
What's most mysterious is that in the saved password list, Firefox doesn't have any information associating my email with reddit specifically. And the one username that I have the option to select is always the same one, and I don't know why it's that one in particular. It's not the oldest, or the newest, or the most recently used.
Any help would be appreciated!

Firefox unchecks "Ask to save passwords"
Often when I open the Firefox browser and try to log into a website, I have to go to settings first to re-enable the option "Ask to save passwords" before firefox will prompt me with auto filling the user name and password.
I uninstalled all extensions with the exception of "Gmail reverse conversation" and Firefox is up to date.

Firefox does not save manually inputted password/user id information from the web login page. It does if entered into password section in Firefox. I've checked the box under saved passwords but does not do anything. I used to be able to enter login information & PW and Firefox would ask "Do you want to save this PW?..."This would build the PW file. But, the only way I can do this is to manually enter data in the Mozilla application menu. What's wrong? thanks
