I recently updated to FF 119.0.1. I am finding that URL completion in the address bar is kind of random. In FF 118 and earlier, URLs were completed predictably, and it was pretty clear that they were based on a) bookmarks and b) frequency of use. Now, it seems like the frequency info is lost every time I restart FF. In that case, I might expect that the URL offered would be from the oldest bookmark or maybe the first in alphabetical order or something predictable, but it isn't. It seems to me to be random, and it is very annoying.

Is this a new bug, or is there perhaps a new setting that I can change to stop the madness?

For relevant settings, I have:

 - Provide search suggestion: checked
 - When using address bar, suggest: browsing history and bookmarks are checked, nothing else
 - I'm using Custom History settings: Remember browsing and download history is checked, Clear history when Firefox closes is checked. 

I have used these settings for years in previous versions of FF, and there hasn't been a problem until now.

Microsoft has placed an ad in mail page to purchase 365 Pilot-Personalized email, I already own 365 program, because I do not push the Buy Button they refused to remove the Ad therefore I cannot open my email. Somebody told me that Firefox is in collaboration with Microsoft,please see if you remove the Ad from email page-it has been a nightmare I have to manure to to ge some of my emails. Please,help. Suddenly stopped receiving emails on my blueyonder account 6 days ago. I can receive them fine on my iphone and ipad and with virgins web mail site but nothing on Thunderbird. It keeps asking for my password but does not recognise anything that i type in. Also will not send from blueyonder. My gmail account works fine. Please help

Hello! I'm on Windows 11 and when trying to update QBittorrent, if I download the last setup.exe from it's official source with Firefox, the file won't open. No error message, no crash, nothing. No amount of double click or "run as admin" will get it to budge. I've had the problem with the last three versions of QBittorrent.

However, when I download the same .exe from the same website with Microsoft Edge, it runs like a charm and I'm able to update QBittorent.

What's weird is that it's not even consistent; I always get that bug with QBittorrent but the other .exe files I downloaded run just fine. I only use Windows Defender for malware protection and it doesn't see the QBittorrent file as a menace. I tried downloading the file to another location than my desktop but the issue persists.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Please let me know what is wrong here I have recorded the issue as you can see that the buttons of pop up for screen record are missing text also location pop up is missing text same with download file names.

I don't know what is the issue and why the texts are not showing but it's been a big hassle.

Please help me solve it. I barely managed to record thing since even it doesn't show which screen I want to record.

I have used Firfox for many years as my main browser...I just upgraded to Sonoma on two Macs and Firefox is nu-useable on both... I waited for the new update and somethings were working but still can not depend on the browser to work... Can you help...?

I'm using Firefox 120.0 on an iMac running OS 13.6.1. When browsing in an open window, merely moving my iMouse (no clicking) causes the display to zoom in and enlarge the display a huge amount that is much larger than normal zooming can produce. Please provide a solution.

I lost all my bookmarks because I forgot my Firefox account password and didn't realize they were in the cloud (I thought they were stored locally). I don't have any bookmarks backups, but I did recently back up my Macbook via Time Machine. Would Time Machine be able to recover my previous bookmarks? If so, how?

I am about to stop using Firefox, because recently, every time it wants to update, it goes right ahead without my say so, and completely voids my entire history. Everything is gone. I have to find all my tabs again, and sign into them all again. Dreadful. I was a faithful user of this web platform, bit this is so inconveniently useless, I cannot continue.

After reinstalling Windows 11 Pro on a newly installed SSD my browser resets location and size to default. Nothing listed here in support or found elsewhere through a web search has made a difference. Also, if I leave Firefox open for an extended period of time so that the browser stays where I put it, and keeps the same size, it will crash. As a test, I had Windows resize the browser to the full monitor, closed it, and when I reopened Firefox it filled the monitor. A second time closed and reopened a few minutes later resets back to default location and size. Everything else (bookmarks, extensions, etc.) remains the same. Nothing has been added or removed since the fresh install.

This is the latest version, 23H2, of Windows 11 Pro, which, btw, was the version I was running before the fresh install of Windows 11 Pro.

How can this be corrected?

I saw there was a fix / workaround for pasting text into WhatsApp on desktop in Firefox, but I used to be able to copy and paste images too and that still doesn't work. It works in the AVG secure browser though. It used to work in Chrome, but I don't want to go to Chrome just to send a picture from my desktop. Is there any workaround or fix in Firefox to copy and paste images into WhatsApp on desktop?

when i am opening any streaming site and play the video, the audio stream of the video sometimes start late and some time does not even start when the audio is played via bluetooth audio device.
