I open "Manage Bookmarks." I open "Library." In "Search Bookmarks," I enter what I'm searching for, assume NY Times.' All the Times links are displayed. I see in the "Name" field at the bottom that I misspelled a word in a displayed link; e.g., "Pul" instead of "Paul." I go to the "Name" field, add the missing "a", then click on an adjoining link. The edit does not take place - like it used to.

How do I edit the "Name" field in the library?

(NB: Firefox 96.0.2)

Where can I get Firefox 52.9.0? There was a list of old versions here but now I can't find it. I found https://download2.portableapps.com/portableapps/FirefoxPortableLegacy52/FirefoxPortableLegacy52_52.9.0_English.paf.exe I really did not want the portable version but avast considers it a threat so it may not be genuine.

Say, for example, I want the download path to be "MyDownloadDirectory/%yyyy/%yyyy.%mm" which means "Change the download path every month to a folder named after the current year and the current month inside a folder named after the current year".

Many non-browser applications allow me to do this, but for some reason browsers generally don't have that option. I was thinking that there was a way to do this in Firefox.

What is a way to do this? If it's not possible in vanilla Firefox, is there an extension available for this?

All of a sudden I can no longer access a website that I have visited a million times before. I get an error message stating...

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I have cleared cookies/cache and all that achieves is that I can get to the website's log in page but then straight back to the same error message. I'm so frustrated as this is a website I need to access for my work.

I can get to it no problem on my phone so it appears to be a Firefox issue. I don't want to use another browser as I get on well with firefox but I fear I may have to as this is too important a website to be without.

Any help would be appreciated - thank you, Nat
