After an update done on October 13, the button that I clicked on to see the menu list that showed selections like "show all bookmarks' and "other bookmarks" to see my bookmarks suddenly disappeared. The button used to be on the top right hand corner of the page, to the left of the one that is titled 'view history, etc". Now I cannot find the bookmarks. Help. Thanks in advance.

PS - When I changed/edited the post, and redisplayed the question, it did not show my changes but when clicked the "edit this question" link, the edit box contained the changes. That is confusing.

As of Friday October 16, 2020 my bank sign on stopped working. I called the bank and they asked me to use my Microsoft edge browser and it worked.

Any Idea on why this on site does not work? I cleared cache and cookies and rebooted.

HI. Firefox has been regularly crashing over the last month or two. Today it's crashed 4-5 times in 10 minutes. I tried sfc /scannow just now and there were no integrity violations. I've always submitted the crash report immediately after each event, however the last few were unsubmitted when I checked the log just now, so I've submitted them too. Firefox has always been updated to the latest version. Any ideas? Cheers Ian

Every morning a website slows my browser down. Can take 10-15 minutes to get up to speed, things 'not responding' all over. I have Windows 10, Eset NOD32 anti virus, Ad blocker plus, Facebonk Container, all that - but I'm just a grunt not a techy..

How do I find out which website it is, so I can nuke their server?

Hey , first time i am facing this problem , i deleted the profile files of firefox then i uninstalled my firefox then i deleted the update section then again reinstalled firefox , started firefox in safe more , or cleared every history cookies and also deleted every cookies but facebook seems to not load. First then i open facebook i can type the password and my email then there is 2FA then after giving the code FB loads for a bit then it shows white screen, i mean full white screen. So please help. This problem i am facing from last night when i left my pc on for the whole night while and sleep and when i came back on i cnt acess facebook . But chrome and microsoft edge works.

Hi, just exited Firefox my usual way - Clicking Exit. Usual message pops up - Do you want to close 2 windows with xx tabs. Firefox closes. As always.

When I am opening Firefox again only 1 window opens! The less important one! The other window actually had all my important tabs.

How can I get my window back?

This has not happened for many many years.

Starting 24 hours ago, Firefox loads a blank Facebook page. Whether using my homepage bookmark or simply entering http://www.facebook.com, all I get is a blank page.

I've tried: Starting Firefox in safe mode, Clearing cache and cookies, Deleting/reinstalling Firefox, Restarting my router.

Firefox opens all other websites without issue. Chrome opens Facebook as expected. I'm using Firefox 81.0.2 (64-bit) Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 18363.1139

I've tried reading through the over 2,000 "suggested" help topics related to Facebook loading a blank page, but none of the ones I read address this issue. What am I missing?

Will Firefox have its own flash software once Adobe flash is discontinued? Will it continue to work correctly if I remove Adobe Flash as instructed by Adobe? Hi, Firefox is the only browser I use, as a general rule. I have a Lenovo laptop, running Windows 10, and I use Avast Free antivirus. Last night the Avast updated itself; I may have also had a Firefox update but I don't think so; I don't remember being asked to restart Firefox. Anyway, since that time I have been unable to log in to Facebook: I get the log-in screen, input email and password, and it goes to a blank white screen with the facebook.com url at the top, as if it were loading, but it doesn't load. I am able to access Facebook normally using Edge (and also on my Samsung tablet), so the problem is not with Facebook. I have tried running Firefox in Safe mode (?), restarting Firefox, restarting my computer, etc., etc. Everything says it's up to date, too. Please tell me what to do; I would much rather use Firefox than Edge.

I now only have a blank white page on Facebook. It works in Microsoft Edge (a browser I have a strong dislike for), but not on FIrefox. It worked yesterday morning, but since last night [10/16/2020].

My girlfriends facebook is just an empty page. It works i Edge (windows10) and in her phone. Other facebook account works but not hers Same problem when using my PC(windows10) to logon to facebook using firefox. I've cleared cash/cockies but it didn't help. I successfully manage to create and log on to a new facebookaccount or her PC This started after the latest Firefox update to 81.0.2 (64-bit) Pls. help.

The firefox browser has been closing itself recently, quite often aswell(2 times a day minimum). No crash reports, nothing like that afterwards either. when i reopen the browser it continues where i left off. i use the duckdugo extention if that may play a role in it.

Any ideas?

I typically have several tabs open in Firefox to quickly go from one website to the other. It seems like after a while or if I have more than a couple tabs already open, clicking on a link or choosing a bookmarked site to open a new tab does nothing. By nothing I mean the tab will open with the URL displayed, but FF is not actively trying to connect to the requested URL. The stop and refresh buttons are grayed out. My only course of action is to close that tab and try again, which typically just repeats the previous steps. It's not website dependent because once this begins happening, any attempt to open a website in a new tab hangs.

I do not remember if attempts to open new websites in existing tabs are successful as I cannot duplicate the problem right now. The only think I know that's successful it to close FF and restart it. When I close the program and reopen it, I notice quite frequently that I get a message that FF is already open so I tell it to close and reopen. Also, the last time this problem happened was a few minutes ago and I had four tabs open. I noticed that there were TEN separate processes running, all called "firefox.exe". Opening an error-free, single-tab instance of FF resulted in four separate processes running. Right now, I have two tabs open - the one in which I'm writing this question plus another, static page. This is resulting in SEVEN separate processes running!

I have not attempted to refresh FF yet as I currently don't want to hassle with all the customization I've done and most likely forgotten how to do.

I'm running Win7 Pro with 16GB. Thanks for the help!

Today I got what I've seen described as the "Facebook White Screen of Death". I've tried: Reload Clear Facebook cookies (which implies logging back in) Clear site data Restart in Safe Mode None of these things make any difference. Still get only a white screen. Facebook works fine in the Chrome browser and in the Android app, so it must be a Firefox-specific issue, in my case. This is Firefox 81.0.2 under Ubuntu 20.04 The problem only started today. I've used Facebook with Firefox for years without problem.

Please tell me why Firefox Keeps Crashing. Sometimes its the Tabs and sometimes the entire Browser.

Hi, After the latest Windows 10 Home (pack120.2212.31.0) & Firefox (81.0.2 64bit) updates (15 Oct 20) Movies & Video clips (eg. in news websites etc) won't run. Video clips result in a "MEDIA_ERR_UNKNOWN" error. I have WebRTC disabled & also run a VPN. With WebRTC enabled I can get the Movies to play, however the video clips still won't play. I don't have any issues in my Chrome browser, using the same VPN & WebRTC apps. Firefox has been uninstalled & reinstalled to no avail. Everything was working fine till the updates. Any ideas on how to get my video clips & also my Movies to run in Firefox?

I like to delete all cookies when I close Firefox and have it set accordingly under Cookies and Site Data to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed". Under Manage Exceptions, I have added the half a dozen websites that I am happy to Allow cookies. However, when I re-open Firefox, not only does it require me to go through the "accept cookies" process (ie it has deleted all the cookies including my exceptions), but the exceptions that I'd listed have all disappeared. So why isn't the Manage Exceptions not working correctly, please? Any solutions much appreciated. Thanks
