Firefox 81, media control function has a bug. All the sites that I use work with it normally. Except VK. Controlling functions like pause, prev or next are working ok. But system media pad always shows title and cover only of the very first track has been played.

Since installing Big Sur on my iMac I, when I click on a url in a Apple Mail email I get the "profile not accessible" message. If Firefox happens to be running when I click on the link it will work.

I've tried all of the suggestions for fixing this issue to no avail.

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem with Big Sur?

To start off, I've never used the sync feature. Not that I think it won't work, I just haven't trusted the cloud enough yet. That being said, I know my logins and passwords are stored in the "profile" in the appdata of mozilla firefox, on this local computer. To my knowledge, this information is stored in the "logins.json" file located in my default profile. Up until now, I have had no issues retrieving the information I need. However, after this morning, when Version 81 was installed, I visited a website where I needed a particular login. I normally have Firefox automatically populate this information, on this particular site. However, since that did not happen this time, I checked my "logins and passwords" page, only to find "No logins found" on the sidebar, and "No synced logins found" in the main space, with instructions on how to sync from other devices or import from other browsers. Since I have not had a login before (for Firefox), I created an account to see if I could import the information from a previous version. However, only other browsers were listed, and I can't sync from another device, as the information is stored on this machine. Creating an account has also allowed me to post here...

I have opened the logins.json file with notepad, and the logins-backup.json file, and both are full of information. Of course it's not plain text, but the information is there. I can also open these files with Firefox, however, it doesn't recognize the file as the "logins and passwords" file, it just displays the encrypted information in a different (html?) format.

Any advice on how I can import these 55+ logins and passwords without re-creating or changing each one of them? Thanks.

Starting this morning I'm getting a weird error message when I try to share articles from things like Daily KOS from my email. This is the message: "App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions."

  I have no idea what that means and I don't see any references to it in the community answers. Suggestions?

Why am I now having Bing show up as my default search engine when opening Firefox? I don't want Bing but can't find any way to remove it. My settings are such that Yahoo should show upon opening the browser and Google is set as my default search engine. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, check settings, etc. but I still get the damn Bing showing up as my home page and search engine. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I just upgraded from version 80.1 to version 81 on my Win7 system. I was looking forward to using the new PDF form filling feature but when I open a PDF document containing forms and try to enter data into a field, I get the following message:

This PDF file contains forms. The filling of form fields is not supported.

Do I need to configure something to allow Firefox to fill fields in a PDF form document?

The What's New page says this feature is available in version 81 and higher but does not say how to enable it. Thanks

The scroll bar on the right of my screen disappears when I sign in to "The Guardian". This started within the last week. It works OK when I sign in to my other on line subscriptions (NY Times and Washington Post) and all other places I access. It works OK when I do a "Safe Mode" load of Firefox. I have explored the few Add-ons and Custom Settings but have not been able to determine the cause. I am having this problem on any of 4 different computers currently running Firefox 81.0 and Windows 10. Microsoft Edge is working OK if I use it.

Any help would be appreciated.

A new feature of firefox 81 says the pdf viewer can be used to fill out fillable pdf forms now. But when clicking on a field on a pdf form, I get the message "This document contains forms. The filling of form fields is not supported". Is there something I need to enable?

I think adding a pdf editing tool [like the one built into microsoft edge] to firefox would be a very nice introduction because it will make it easier to manage this type of documents without having to look for dodgy add-ons or sketchy websites, or even it will make unnecesary download specific apps to edit the file, and generally that is a paid option (i'm looking at you adobe). So please devs, if you make it possible, i´m sure the community will love this feature

I have always used ebay and paypal with firefox until last week when it changed during checkout having purchased an item

It allows me to select payment method of paypal then asks for user name and password, then it re-directs me to a screen which asks if I want to save the details for future use, I select not now and it goes off via another link to paypal and then puts up a blank text free screen with a green circle spinner in it and theire it remains forever ????????????

If I log in to paypal seperately all works fine as does checking out in the exact same way in internet explorer so it looks like a broken or blocked link within firefox ?

I have spoken to Paypal who inform me that it is a Firefox issue..................

Can anyone help please ?

Some websites not supports for your browser (Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE) all browsers are supports like as Google Crome, Edge, Opera, UC Browsers, Safari etc,. But Firefox Desktop version not supporting and mobile firefox is supporting. what is problem for your side, please resolve or else update your browser.

i dont know why but since the update i can t reach https://www.cdiscount.com/ anymore. it works well on, edge but not on mozilla. i disabled adblock for this website.
