I want to erase all certificate exceptions, that is, go back to the original default set of trusted SSL certificates. I've found the Certificate Manager and its big lists of trusted things, but I have no idea which of them ship with Firefox and which of them were added by me at some time in the past. How do I do this?

I have an email account with TalkTalk which has gone well for a few years. I get it through Firefox. Yesterday when I went into my mail the font was so tiny that I couldn't read it. I phoned Talktalk who said that it was a fault with Firefox and this was proved correct when I went to Internet Explorer and the font was normal. However I should like to keeop using Firefox. Colin

Hello to the to the Firefox team ,

When one click a eMule or aMule (P2P) link , there is no

option to associate it with /usr/bin/ed2k (the P2P program) .

In former versions you had to go in "about:config" and enter a New then Boolean with as name :

    "network.protocol-handler.external.ed2k" and value :
    "true"

Then again New String "network.protocol-handler.app.ed2k"

with "/path/to/ed2k" as a value .

I have Firefox 3.6.7 on a Fedora 13 O.S. and the classic

doesn't do the trick . How comes ?

Now I get a warning window witch basically says : (translated & abbreviated from Dutch)

" don't now how to open this address , this protocol (ed2k) isn't associated with any program "

Only option is the OK button , end of history , no way to

associate , as explained in MIME types etc.. ...

I've no idea , and there seams to be nobody else having

the problem , there isn't anything in the FAQ's or the

knowledge base .

Thank you for the attention ,

Sincerely greeted

Martin

The current options for opening a new tab in firefox is to either open at the right hand end of the tab strip, or to open it at the right end of the related content tabs. If the number of tabs between the current tab and the new tab exceeds the number visible across the window, there is no visible indication that the click was successful and a new tab was opened. Is there a way to get Firefox to open a new tab to the right of the current tab but to the left of the related content tabs. This means that you would always see the new tab being opened. It would also mean that if you accidentally opened the tab in the foreground rather than the background, the related content tabs would still stay in order (albeit from right to left rather than the current left to right).

I have an internal site with the following basic setup:

Apache Tomcat 2.0.29 Running Hudson

Tomcat is configured to allow HTTPS connections from internal users. The certificate used is signed by my own CA. It is important to note that the certificate is a wildcard cert, so any host at my domain will match.

I am trying to access this site using both Firefox 3.6.7 and Chrome 6.x. Both browsers are configured to trust any certificate signed by my CA.

If Tomcat is running without Hudson deployed, then the site works fine over SSL in both Firefox and Chrome. Once Hudson is deployed to the site, then Firefox starts to display the following error:

--- Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to site.example.com:8443.

Peer reports it experienced an internal error.

(Error code: ssl_error_internal_error_alert) ---

Chrome does not display such and error and the site is still fully functional.

Its interesting to note, that this same setup (Tomcat configuration) can be used with other applications and Firefox works fine. Some examples are JIRA, Artifactory, etc. Its only Hudson that triggers this issue. Chrome 6.x works in a cases.

Can someone explain what the error message above means? Is it possible there is a configuration error that Chrome is ignoring? Or is it more likely Hudson is doing something that is triggering a bug in Firefox?

I would guess this is not a common problem as I was unable to find the error message above on the support.mozilla.com site.

The site I'm using is internal, but if needed, I can setup an instance in the same configuration that is externally available.

I have downloaded and installed the Firefox (ver 3.6.7) add-on Pencil, which is supposed to provide support for making simple drawings and associated text annotations. But I am unable to use the sme as I don't know how to invoke the same. Please help me by giving me the information as to how I can invoke and use the add-on. By the way this also is a matter of concern for several other add-ons downloaded and installed. So I would be highly thankful for an answer covering all such add-ons. Many thanks in advance. - - arasan77

I have a widescreen monitor and previously I just set a large minimum font size, but as you know that doesn't zoom images as well and leads to formatting problems. Recently I discovered the zoom feature. I would like to make firefox zoom a certain amount for all webpages instead of having to do it manually each time you come to a new webpage. This would be enormously helpful. How do I do this? Thanks in advance/
