I don't know why any browser never seems to allow for this. I hate using the mouse wheel to scroll down webpages and always use the scroll bar on the right side. Problem is most of the time it's way to skinny/narrow to be practically used and the bar you use to scroll it up and down - especially on long pages - is so tiny as to be completely unusable. It may not be an issue for tweens who still have eyes like hawks but for older people, like me, it's a pain in the tuchus. I'd like to be able to increase both the size - width mostly - of the slide rail and increase the overall size of the slide bar you use to control it.

On Chrome, if you have multiple profiles open on a Windows 11 PC, they each show up on the taskbar as separate things with the Chrome logo. Meanwhile, with Firefox, separate profiles open windows on the same taskbar icon and simply switch the profile icon. The picture gives an example of what I mean. I've censored some stuff on it, but know that the stuff in white is in one profile while the other has the stuff in black. The gray is unrelated stuff. Claude says Chrome does this by giving each profile a separate AppUserModelID, whatever that is. Is it possible to do the same in Firefox?

I have firefox on another PC with wallpaper I wish to install on my current firefox. I have identified its name = "Abstract". My menu bar is missing. The instructions I have is to click on the open application menu, go to Customize, at the bottom click on 'Toolbars' and then on the menu bar to make the change. I have searched using obvious words like 'customize', 'toolbar'. and 'menu bar', but all I get is 'Not found'. Am I missing something here?

On Firefox(Archlinux) i can't change website fonts. "firefox-151.0.4.tar.xz" https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest-ssl&os=linux... can't either. Even though FF-snap and FF-flatpak can. How can i fix ?

My FFox browser has been invaded by PINK EVERYWHERE Get rid of it in the browser. The suggestions do not seem to do anything to get rid of this horrible color. TFFox 151.0.2 64

Black and white works fine in Menu Bar and web addresses when you finally get your act together.

My cursor doesn't show an 'image preview' anymore when I hover over a tab even though I still have it checked in my settings. It always did until a few days ago, but now it doesn't & I haven't changed anything.

I have upgraded to a Macbook pro 2023 M2 Tahoe, and reinstalled firefox. When I open it, the search bar & my tabs all show as expected, but then disappear, can't find them. I have to close and open again to get back them back. I have googled this, tried some things (about:config - made sure "browser.fullscreen.auto hide" is set to false). I do not have a setting "always show toolbar in full screen" as suggested by google search. This shouldn't be that hard! Any thoughts? thanks!

Hello, I somehow have gotten a slimmer sidebar that is attached to my bookmarks sidebar on the left. I can't get it to disappear without losing my bookmarks at the same time. When I re-open bookmarks it has this sidebar again on the side. Is it possible to get just this slim bar to go away? Thank you

How do I get rid of that new sidebar, the slim section? It is totally wasted space! I just want my bookmarks there without that sidebar taking up real estate. It is totally useless for me! Sometimes you just need to leave things alone.

Good morning. I'm trying to configure my shortcuts on my home screen. Specifically, I want the shortcut button's icon to display the website's favicon, rather than just the default circle with a letter. I set the custom icon field for the button (as an example) to:

I have verified that this favicon exists and I can load it into a separate firefox tab. However, it won't display in the shortcut button. I've tried restarting and trashing some caches without success.

Where am I going wrong? I'm on FF 151.0.4 for Mac OSX 26.4. Thanks, Eric

Hello. I added some controls like zoom control to firefox toolbar and it's work while firefox is opened. after closing and re-opening the firefox, those controls will disappear. what's the problem?
