I run G-mail in a Firefox tab. It worked perfectly until 48 hours ago. Now I cannot attach any files to my emails, and Gmail's "Help" is useless. Is there anything in FF which could be preventing this? Any clues as to why GM has turned nasty?

I recently updated to v130. I'm having the same problem that so many others have, "Firefox already running, close Firefox". After updating to v130 I had to go to Task Manager and delete 19 Firefox running. It's only been a few days ago and I checked Task Manager today and deleted another 13. After updating to v130 many of my add-ons are showing up in the Menu Bar. I have used Add-ons Manager to drag and drop, but it doesn't work. I have specific bookmarks that should be in the "Bookmarks" section" but they are also showing up in the Menu Bar. I had to re-select my screen choice because it had disappeared. I use DuckDuckGo for my search engine and in the past I was able to choose a separate search bar, but that too has disappeared and I cannot seem to fix it in settings. So many problems after updates, but this one seems very bad. I use Windows 10 on my desktop PC

Mozilla foxfire has been my go to web browser for many years but recent problems that have developed with printing from the web browser is forcing me to go to another browser.

As you will notice from the screen print when printing the browser creates open space to the bottom from the first two lines. that is no matter what is being printed.

But when an application calls for it, "Joachim von" is (incorrectly) provided as my first name. How do I edit my saved name so that it is displayed correctly? Starting last night, Microsoft wants me to login with my username and password. However, it will not allow me to input those factors. I have Windows 11 and am using a new desktop cube made by KAMRUI. I detest the control Microsoft is forcing on me. Can I delete my MS account? I don't use their products. Also, I am disgusted by their manipulation and invasion of my privacy. What are my options, in this case?

Recently, I've run into logging in on at least two websites where I have two-factor authentication set up. I'll click the sign in button, and rather than advancing to ask for my authentication code, I get stuck in an endless loading loop and am unable to do anything.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have already tried clearing cache and cookies and restarting in safe mode.

This issue only happens to me on desktop. The mobile version of firefox still lets me log in, but I prefer to use desktop.

I know this question has already been asked but the contents where a little different and the answer didn't really help me... I noticed this a few times and researched a few times but it didn't help.

Because of performance issues I checked my Task-manager and realized that RAM (and sometimes CPU but RAM ist my main focus) are being used extensively through Firefox: - a lot of Firefox-processes are open - this stays the case when I restart - also if just 1 tab open Now from my research I know I'm not the only one and it's supposed to be normal to some extend. But right now I've got 13 processes open! They are all under C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe Then they are quiet similar: - Contentproc... Channel=xxxx (--> 4 numbers that vary ) - child ID x (--> 1 or 2 number that varys) OR ParentbuildID xxx (a lot of numbers that vary) (From now on I stop putting xxxes for numbers, but there still are numbers everywhere) - then some say IsforBrowser others SandBoxingKind others nothing here - Then they seem to all have prefshandle , prefmaphandle, prefslen, prefmapsixe - Then it varys again: --> For example one process which currently uses 500mb on it's own then says: jsInitHandle, jsInitLen, parentBuildID, win32kLockedDown -appDir.. C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\browser, (then signs and numbers and later) gecko-crash-server-pipe

Please help.

They can't all be okay and necessary, can they? How can I recognize which Processes have which reason? Maybe some extensions are the problem? Maybe some processes are old and can be closed/erased? Anything to do with preferences on homepages or passwords? And if so, which is which? No preference is worth so much RAM to me ^^ But I don't wan't to erase everything on every homepage for nothing or very little mb either ;-)

Oh, yeah so some of those processes use only between 1 and 10 MB, others mostly around 40 MB (10-100 MB) but some of them (right now 3) use between 220 and 470 MB. Right now this sums up to more then 1GB, my only open tab is this Support Tab. It becomes a lot more while using Firefox.

This is a continuing problem that showed up on version 127, maybe 128, and continued through 129, and now to 130.0.

Attempts using Firefox to play movies at HD (highest 6GB data resolution) fail. Using, for example, the Edge browser works fine. This problem showed up as noted in the first sentence of this post. Manually changing an obscure "about:config" variable from 1 to 0 did not fix the problem.

I just updated to 130.0, immediately tried to play a movie at highest resolution, it failed. Changed the obscure variable from the value it had, 0, to 1 and it failed still. Changed it back to 0 and it failed.

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with Firefox and could use some help. When I use the Babbel application (and sometimes other websites), the page doesn't display at all. Even when I refresh, nothing changes. However, when I open the same link in Google Chrome, it works perfectly.

I tried logging in with a brand-new Firefox account, and the page displays without any issues. So, I suspect that one of my extensions might be causing this problem on my main account.

However, I don't want to delete my cookies because it's really inconvenient to re-enter the passwords for websites I use frequently.

Does anyone have suggestions on how I can identify the extension or setting that might be causing the issue without having to delete my cookies?

When I go on eBay the first website page is fine. However when I click on a link to a product I get weird web pages with a heading "breadcrumb" and the page comes out with only a few images and this strange lot of directional arrows. When I paste the webpage address into another webpage exactly the same problem. When I paste the address into Chrome, no problem, the page comes up correctly with all the images and not this weird page I get with Firefox. I prefer to use Firefox and I would really rather not have to change to Chrome or MS Edge.

I didn't always have this problem, it seemed to have been more recently and seems to be only with eBay. I imagine it's something in the settings that somehow switched and I need to switch it back.

i am not a computer knowledgeable person, as I am 84 years old, and do not understand or know how to make the changes that are constantly being made. Please help me make sure everything is set up correctly for the current rules and that the computer is secure, as I discuss monetary issues with many of my clients. When directions are offered, I often find it impossible to follow them, as whatever they tell me does not show up, or is not found on my screen. I have a relatively new computer, maybe a year old, so i am sure the problem is with me, and not the computer.

Thanks for any help you can offer. From past experience, please have someone with lots of patience, or some one that can just et it set up right. Thanks, Bette :>)

Nord VPN not recognizing that Firefox is on version 130. It keeps thinking that I am on version 128. I have Nord techs telling me what to do with their app but nothing I have done, even a complete new install of Nord, is fix ing the problem. They have suggested I get in touch with Firefox so here I am. OS Win10 home. It is also happening on my lap top with Win 11
