When I click on an email in the left-hand list column it now opens the email in an irritating pop-up window. Just started doing this annoying this this past week. I DON'T want it to open the email up again--just want to read it in the right hand display screen. How can I stop this extremenly annoying thing from happening. Never did it before. Don't need it. Extra work. Just want to see the list on left, message on right and NOT pop up into new separate window. Can you tell me how to get rid of this unwanted 'feature?'

In the "comments" section of a Yahoo article, a notification will appear that someone has replied to a comment I submitted previously. By clicking on that notification you are supposed to be returned to that article and directly to my comment and the subsequent replies to it. Firefox is returning me to the articles' comment section but not to my specific comment and any added replies.
Microsoft Edge DOES send me back to my specific comment. I cannot find anything in the settings for Firefox that would control this.

Hello, I recently updated to 15.3.2 on a silicon Mac Mini. This morning, both Firefox and TBird ran slowly. I restarted twice and spoke to a Senior Adviser at Apple. The second restart was at her advice, and it brought TBird back to normal performance. She said she believed that the computer was indexing after the update to 15.3.2, which took place last night.
We thought that Firefox was normalized as well, but it is still working slowly compared to Safari. Any suggestions?

For the past few weeks my credit union website has posted the following error code "A connection failure has occurred. Please try again or call the Member Service Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (907) 563-4567 or (800) 525-9094.
I called member service and they blamed the problem on Mozilla, stating they are slow to update their security protocols to accept GCU's advance security. They refused my suggestion that they reach out to Mozilla and there is no direct way to contact Mozilla Support.
I have used this browzer for years with no problem, and now I can't use it on my online banking site; the only site where this problem occurs. HELP

I am using a VERY old computer for ChatZilla only: Windows XP Firefox 48.0.2 ChatZilla 0.9.92
I don't care about the age and inability to update any of the software, but I need to continue to use ChatZilla on this platform.

When Firefox is on, and I shut down or reboot my PC directly without closing Firefox, it shows a problem. When I click the restore session or start new session' option, it takes some time to load the webpage. Sometimes, it takes 3-4 minutes to establish a connection. After resetting all data from Firefox, it fixes, but then it gets slow from time to time again. However, it is a problem to reset all the data regularly.

The --enable-alsa option is not rejected by firefox but doesn't work either. The only way to get audio from firefox in this install is through the apulse wrapper:
apulse firefox ...
Note that chrome browsers have no problem with audio when pulseaudio is not installed.
Is the --enable-alsa in firefox supposed to work?

Select Help menu (Restart to update Firefox) I've preformed this task several times so far and I keep getting the something over as I click on Help menu. I restart the browser again however it is the same thing "Restart" again. What is my next step here?
