Only effects certain websites, and only on my laptop, not my desktop. Most sites are fine. Seems to have occurred when I bookmarked a site on my desktop, and then my laptop synced and got screwed up. Not quite sure though.

For example, Wolfram Alpha's website does not display the favicon:

   - there is no favicon in the tab
   - when bookmarked there is no favicon

Deleting browsing data doesn't fix it. Deleting places.sqlite doesn't fix it. Refreshing the page doesn't fix it. Restarting my computer doesn't fix it.

I don't want to do a reinstall, if anything, because I shouldn't have to.

I'm only annoyed by this because I use the favicons (without text next to them) as links in the bookmarks bar. I can't do this if I don't know what the favicon is, and thus don't know what the website is.

I have Windows 10 Home with Firefox 62.0. I have pinned to the bookmarks toolbar the web site, the weather network. It has a circular, stylized yellow icon resembling the earth. Recently that icon has been replaced with an icon the site uses to show extreme weather (a red icon with a lightning bolt through it). I have unpinned the web site and re-pinned it - no luck. I repeated unpinning the site, closing Firefox and re-starting my computer, re-pinning the site - still no luck. The red icon with a lightning bolt persists. I am just a user with no coding or programming experience. So any solutions anyone could offer please keep it simple. Thank you.

I now have Firefox 60.0 and noticed that some of the bookmark site symbols , that are unrelated, now have a globe identifying symbol. This makes it hard to pick a see the type of bookmark I am looking for. All my you tube bookmarks have to red with the white right facing triangle and all my real estate bookmarks have a red circle with a white upward pointing arrow. This is now not the case. It seems to be a random thing that the identifying symbol is , in some case replaced with a globe with grid line. Is this a Firefox bug . Thanks for your assistance.

I was told that there is a setting called move lock to prevent your avatar in Second Life from being moved. Is there such as a setting in Firefox called move lock ? How do you find the setting ?

My Second Life avatar was grief-ed by being flung into mid air by either a script, a push or a repluser. I personally am convinced that is was a script of some sort. Another avatar di try to aid me by sending a teleport request yet every time my avatar landed in the same area I bounced back to both mid air and the land boundaries of where I was at the time.
