So, FireFox has a built-in "dark theme". But at the moment, I think it is not finished. The fact is that, with the "dark theme" enabled, the background of the FF service pages (for example: "Blank Page", "Preferences") are white. In this regard, my question is, will this be fixed in future releases?

The second question is about "dark themes" on web sites. Web developers have finally figured out how to present their site in a user-defined color theme. For example - Youtube. If I open a Youtube page not with FireFox, it will define a "device theme" and show the page not in "white" but in "dark" version. It is very comfortable. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in FF. Can FireFox be taught to tell the site the color theme of the device?

I want my home button to take me to a page that I use most of the time but I want my startup page to be something more neutral like a search engine or about:blank. Or if there was a feature in Customize Firefox that let you add your own button that directed you to a web page that would be cool too!

I constantly use the "This time, search with..." option in the search bar to switch between my default search engine and others on the fly. Since version 84.0, this now needlessly prepends the query with a search engine label and requires an additional action to complete (either a return or click of search arrow).

I feel as though the clicking of any of those alternate search engine options is enough to establish intent by the user and should act as a submit button for the request. The only "advantage" this new functionality allows for is a select-first, query-after approach, which I find uncommon.

My request:

1) Return previous behavior. 2) Implement hybrid -- Search-first, query-after produces label; query first, search after submits. 3) Provide an option in the settings to toggle behavior.

Hope someone can help/shed some light on the change,

Thanks

Hello, I work in a company where our system is mounted on Adoble Flash Player. We have started the migration to HTML 1 year ago, but the system is so big that we are not finished yet. We use this system internally, that is, it does not go on the web, it is exclusively for internal use in the company. My question is, is there a way that in 2021 we can continue to use Adoble Flash Player withFirefox until we finish the migration? thank you.

I'd like to be able to change my keyboard shortcuts for Firefox, but I don't see how to do that. Mouse buttons don't work at all, and ctrl-shift-tab / ctrl-tap don't do what I want them to.

I see no way to customize shortcuts, they seem baked into the source code.

Firefox - Add Colored tabs

I had Firefox version 81 and after installing version 82 in a new install on a new hard drive, I cannot change the color of my tabs anymore. I should see white tabs for the current tab but no longer when I added my userChrome.css file. I see instead a thin blue color strip along the top of the tab and the rest is grey. This shows up without any userChrome.css file.

In Firefox address field type: about:support It shows my Profile. vwy0y5ix.default-release I also have under the Profile folder this: jcueuz5y.default

I put the userChrome.css file here in my Chrome folder: C:\Users\David\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\vwy0y5ix.default-release

What it contains: /* USE THIS ONE. It works in version 65 https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx/releases/tag/2.3.4
